Selling An Account For 500-600M and Getting Banned

Does anyone know the threshold for getting banned on OSRS gp trades in-game?

Let's say someone buys my account for 500-600M and then trades me the cash and I give them the account. What are the chances of me getting banned since I am the one who has the 500-600M on my account after the trade?

It depends on luck I guess. Never had a problem on my main with it. But I’d recommend using a mule then trade from mule to main.

wrong, that just adds more suspicious activity. simply don't trade off big amounts to low level for nothing, junk items may work but not really helpful as they can see those items.

 

I guess to each is own. I sell by the bil and no issue. I don’t waste my time with increments. More suspicion but do what you want.

 

I wasn't disagreeing with the amounts, just the fact of trading to a mule account, since it will all most likely be on your IP. know what i'm sayin?

You can do duel arena but you’ll need to match the money and take the losses from tax. Bans on a mule is extremely low. If you wanna get all technical you can use a vpn/proxy on your mule. But don’t stress it just trade it over.

If your mule is lvl3 then 500m and above is too risky

 

use a sock5 proxy, sell the gold. Who needs 500m osrs for in-game when you can have $350+ lol

 

To be honest, the chances of you getting banned are pretty low.

There are thousands of trades that happen on a daily basis (not including grand exchange), and most of the time Jagex isn't monitoring these trades. Their goal is to crack down on big RWT websites who are making thousands of dollars daily. It is hard for them to have compelling evidence against normal players because they understand that the gold could be a donation from a friend, a loan, your alt, transferring GP to a new account, etc.

Is it possible to get banned for a 500m trade? Yes. Is it likely? No.
