Becoming An OSRS Member & Changing Your Display Name

If I use a bond to make one of my f2p accounts members, am I able to change the name right away? I remember making an account members that had zero name change for like a year but it still said you need to wait 7 days or so.

Oh so if I wanted to use the same scape account to get membership every month, that wouldn't work?

 

You can change the name once.
Your old name will still show.
If you buy 2 bonds, and do 2 name changes, your old name will not show.
You can only change your name once every 28 days, unless redeeming another bond for 'instant name change'
