    I think it could be a great way to help introduce new users to donating to Sythe and provide more clarity. The rank could link to the bond holder's donation thread. Thoughts?

    Any suggestion on what it might look like?

    The minirank [​IMG] doesn't really do enough to distinguish bondholders. It's often hidden behind 20-30 other miniranks which makes it hard for newcomers to see and in some cases, they might mistake it for a tradable minirank. With this being said, i'm not sure if a fun-rank is needed, a lot more people have been donating to sythe directly which has made bondholders less significant.

    I'm going to support this idea but won't be surprised if it doesn't get implemented.

    I don't think the addition of a bond holder fun rank would make things any easier for people looking to donate. In addition to that if I get another user group based rank I will no longer be able to show my donation rank, legendary or prince yobabo rank. So no support.

    However, the amount of time people waste trying to find it I don’t know.

    No support, they already have an exclusive minirank and stickied threads in the appropriate section. If someone wants to donate they can easily find who they need to atm imo.

    Fair point, though the minirank is quite meaningless for those who are new to the website. Aside of that, their sticky threads isn't really something that profits them, it profits Sythe. Last but not least, their sticky threads are hidden in a section noone would figure that's where the donation threads are located. Love you btw, long time no speak.

    I'm willing to consider a fun rank for bond holders, however, if we added it I would remove the minirank. I wouldn't give them both, nor would they have a choice of which one. Keep in mind you can only have 4 fun ranks, so if you already have 4 you may not be able to display it (since group-based ranks can't generally be hidden). This could cause issues. Curious what @Sythe thinks

    Perhaps we should allow more than 4 even if it makes the post bit make less than desirable. Also why not make it so that usergroup based ranks can be manually changed if a user has more than 4

    If we were being a lil picky, I'd argue that the average user wouldn't even know what the words Bond Holder mean.

    If things were to be changed, in my mind it'd make much more sense to have the Bond Holder's threads in a much more accessible and convenient place.
    Maybe Donor Lounge becomes Donations with the list of threads view-able by anyone, and a subcategory of Donor Lounge only accessible by donors as per usual. Something along those lines.

    Approved yes, but remember:
    1. You can only have 4 fun ranks (and I don't intend to change that)
    2. If we switch to a fun rank, the minirank goes away

    We'd probably also take a poll of bond holders before making the change to see what the majority of them wants. As far as I'm concerned it's really up to them. If Sythe is ok with this, I'll reach out to the bond holders and see what they want.
