best way to learn scripting

i have java experience , but for osrs bot scripting i have no experience at all , i want to know what is the best bot platform to script in osbot,tribot,or others , which one has the best antiban/mirror more , and how long should it take to create first bot .

If you know java then you can pick up scripting on any java botting platform extremely easily

 

also want to know what is the best platform for antiban , i know osbot have mirror mode but i don't know for others

 

mirror is pretty useless imo, the platform itself doesn’t matter much for antiban but the script itself does.

 

Mirror mode is definitely not useless, I don't know if anyone remembers using SRL or SIMBA. But basically what mirror mode does is make it looked like your logged in OSRS with OSbuddy, and uses OSbuddy client to make its clicks. I personally had better luck not getting banned using mirror mode than stealth injection. I bought a premium script and used stealth injection and didn't bot for long periods of time and got banned.

And to answer the OP, honestly if you know java just pick a client and start working on your own script for a specific task. I know a lot of those forums have guides and stuff to help your way along with learning.

Hey, I just saw this so I figured I'd give some input.

I literally had absolutely 0 experience in Java 2 years ago or so. I started scripting with NO KNOWLEDGE. I learned everything I know off of basic youtube tutorials, a good place to start is Dreambot. It took me about 6 months before I wrote something actually "decent" but I believe it's because I had 0 java experience.

You should be able to write a simple script that works the very first day - I suggest starting off with a power chopper to dive into things. I also suggest looking at some open source projects.

Good luck with your journey, with the advice I gave you should do well.

Also be careful - scripting is literally the most addicting thing I've ever come across, which in turn can be a good and bad thing. Longest session was probably over 30 hours straight.

I'm about 3 months away from a 2-year degree in IS, and I'm still wondering when it's going to get interesting - I've only scratched simple ass java, c##, and some other managerial business traits.

While taking a break for a month or two, I delved into a few of these tutorials myself - Along with my materials and books from class. But now with classes and 40+ hr work weeks, real life seems to be missing a pause button. So learning during "free time" is non-existent to me.

However, there are many free options that are just as fruitful - YouTube, Udemy, and many more I'm sure google will pull up for you.

Not to be a prude - But, I am assuming your understanding of Java isn't "quite" that good, otherwise, this step would have been skipped altogether.

And if it is, my apologies - You may want to check out some major rs bot YouTube channels. Some have beginner guides and such.

 

The following will help

• Refactor your brain to follow logic and read logic from open source programs (Scripts, Snippets, etc)
• Understand how to navigate and understand Javadocs (data type, return method, method description, etc)
• Understand how to write clean code

But the first step is to grasp the concepts of the Java programming language OR the primary language of that client.

 

Can i generate a bot with a app?

 

I would recommend looking into tutorials on the forums you choose (look for one with a semi-active tutorial section). Also, I would recommend taking a bit of time to read the javadocs of the API, because it will help immensely when starting out.
