Why is paying someone to do inferno so expensive?

I've just come back from a long break from OSRS and saw Inferno's cost around 300-400m OSRS.

I've been told it takes 2-3hrs to do.

Given firecapes take 1-2hrs and cost 15-35m OSRS, why are infernos so costly?

 

Well Inferno require 1B ISH + gear to do.. so need lot of trust, and need lot of ingame ''skill'', everybody can do a fire capes (with some try) but Inferno only some people are able to do it

 

Literally what is said above, there has also been bans/cape removals if not done properly, most are done over Teamviewer.

Chances are if you buy one you'll get it removed anyway.

Think about it, if you do a few attempts and get to say wave 23, then wave 28 and then wave 32. You then purchase one and get to Zuk and kill it without ever getting close to it before, you think they won't know regardless of if it's done via TeamViewer or not? Just my input on it anyway.

I had mine done and it did not get removed. It's expensive because of the reasons above.

 

It's just rare for people to be able to do. You pay for someones expertise basically.

 

It take's a lot of skill and ability compared to a fire cape.

 

The reasons have been stated above but I just want to emphasize the expensive gear element as it has only been mentioned once.

I know blokes that attempt Inferno in over 2B worth of gear. If they were to pay for a service, it would be in that gear - so other than the avoiding Jagex BS, you have that substantial gear risk as well.
