What's your favorite RSC memories?

Of course it's no longer around but let's share some stories

 

The first time playing, completing underground pass, making baby pures with rl friends on the weekends. going to the library so we can all play together. taking turns on the weekends cause we only had 1 pc. buying a dragon med for 2.5m, castle pking, varrock W1 pking. adamant 2h pures, black 2h pures. the partyhat dupe. so much more.

Haha so much epic ness. I really enjoyed all the trading that was in Varrock all around the Varrock castle. Every section was selling something different. It was actually so originized.

I remember back when I was a young boy, I let a guy log onto my account to double check if my Rune chainbody was real. It turns out it was real. He scammed my ass and took my account. I guess I deserved it. I did the same thing with a Rune long on a seperate occasion. What was I thinking? Ha

 

I got lent a partyhat from an IRL friend who introduced me to the game, I was completely new and had no clue lmao, I was clicking on trees and couldn't cut them because I did not have an axe, someone noticed that and managed to con me into giving the phat for a bronze axe making me believe it was worth more and that thae hat was really just a paper hat, I think my friend cried for 3 days or something and fell out with me for years lmaoooo

Being able to rest on a bed

 

Hahaha this is true. What is agility? All I need is a sleeping bag

 

Don't forget about that hidden item toy / sail boat that became an unobtainable untradeable 'rare' lol

 

Most epic, rarest, unobtainable item ever

 

• Watching the old timers like The Oracle, or 1-800-Guthix stake dmeds/phats against people 2x their level at "mage wall" in draynor
• Investing my entire bank in bloods to hunt another mage because he had a partyhat in lvl 5 wildy. He 1 hit my pure ranger friend, then 2hit me
• The Rei-net vs Lumby Train fight

Anyone remember xpkxpkx or Puppy Poop? They were the first 99 "pure rangers" (10 hp). It was really OP to pk with them

 

When I started playing a game called Runescape for the first time, and then one week later, Runescape 2 launched and I had no idea what the hell just happened.

 

Haha, I think everyone felt the same way. I stayed at RS Classic for a while after that

All da cool kids in ardougne bank gearing up to go pk. Castle pking was fun tooo haha.

The mechanics were different in PKing, who ever gets the last hit on a kill gets the loot. X_X

 

That can be both a good and a bad mechanic.

I think nowadays they should have it the most damage over the last 10 seconds of the fight or something.

 

I think rare items... and untradebles

 

telling the other guy to start no items because he has 5 str levels more than you in a stake.
