[DENIED] Force Staff To Display Online Status

This would make them appear at the bottom of the page, allowing new users to get a hold of them easier.

I don’t see why staff members would ever feel the need to hide their online status.

I can see why this will probably not pass as they also have right to «privacy».

 

No support, I would guess some times they are working on something specific (reports, requests, etc.) and don't want to get bombarded with irrelevant things.

Staff can get extremely busy handling reports, amongst dealing with a host of other on and offsite issues.

Sometimes people also need privacy.

 

No support. I am usually displayed online on Discord and I get lost in messages there often, but on Sythe I tend to stay hidden offline so this is not doubled.

 

Staff are volunteers, so they can choose how involved they wish to be. While I would personally prefer all staff not use hidden status and help as many people who message them everyday, the reality is it won't happen forever even if they try. That's why there are multiple staff members to request help from. If you feel a particular staff member is not doing a good job or not contributing enough, please post your feedback on their respective thread.

 

If you actually red what I stated above you’d know at the bottom of the page current online users are shown. If you don’t display your online status that is just yet another handicap for newcomers trying to get a hold of staff (potential scam quitters and whatever it might be)

Current staff is doing a great job, I can vouch for all of them since you’ve been away.

I did actually read what you said. They can still PM us, or post reports as necessary. I see your point but its not exactly a handicap when we have a list of staff as well.

 

I was referring to Tyler on that particular one. I remember as a newcomer myself I always checked for online staff as it is the most convenient way for someone that doesnt know their way around the market very well, that’s all. I can’t speak on behalf of the staff as I don’t know how many messages you guys receive each day, and that is probably why this suggestion won’t ever pass.
