$10 iTunes Gift Card / Catan / iCloud Storage

Hey everyone,

So recently myself and a few friends got Catan IRL and started playing it and I am now addicted. There is an app on the iTunes app store to purchase Catan for $5 and wanted to know if anyone has played it and enjoys it

Also, this is not the main point of my post and am I not here begging for $5 iTunes Gift Card but I'm obviously too cheap to pay for it so again, not the point of this post but, does anyone have a $5 iTunes Gift Card they want to accidentally PM me the information to? This is not begging in any way I will definitely trade you for it, but if you give me it for free that's cool too.. I also want to upgrade my iCloud storage for $0.99/month.

I actually have played it, but as a board game with a few friends, it's really fun to play if you're like pre-drinking when going out or smth.

the app version of catan is absolute garbage compared to the real game

@Bolt do they have AIs in the full version?

 

Yup, you can play against AI, but they're pretty dumb compared to real humans (even on maximum difficulty). They increase the difficulty by having the AI roll more lucky numbers instead of through actual strategy and technique, which requires a lot of time and effort to code but I guess they went the cheap route lol

Nonetheless, if you don't always have a group of friends to play catan with and have withdrawals, would reccomend the app

Don't know if you're still into Catan, but my friend group got pretty into it this year. Since COVID-19 hit, and we aren't able to meet up in person as much, we play on colonist.io. Probably the best way to play aside from the actual board game.
