An Nexus/IBot Admin allegedly scammed users

That could have happened to any site. We had that happen to us a couple of times.

So, let's not be hypocritical. True, their service shouldn't be payed for, but don't let the actions of one, yes, highly respected, member of their forum soil your perspective of them.

 

Coming from sythe(known for scams) I find it quite hilarious.

Research is your best friend. Do a little more before posting bs.


He was admin way back(aryan days), He was a Gmod when he got banned.

 

RSCA is a total fail. The forums are horrible, not to mention their programs.

How can you call rsca a bad forum, the main point of sythe.org is to scam, A LOT. I hate this forum for not being able to acces it a whole lot of times, for the scamming and most of all for being pointless ; you guys do absolutely nothing for rs or for anything of that matter. We develop a bot, maintain scripts, make new scripts, we still maintain a legal market with almost no scamming, we still have users who are not going to scam, and we actually have intelligence, so..... you tell me; why s(cam)ythe.org is better than RSCA.

I'd say that RSCA(M) is in about the same boat as Sythe is.

RSCA sells a bot which helps people BREAK JAGEX RULES and gain an unfair advantage over those who don't cheat.

Sythe openly promotes cheating.

Now understand that I don't have a major problem with cheaters. If using a bot to get a high combat level, pure, or high skill is what makes you happy, then go for it. Macroers bring the price of common Runescape goods down (runes, logs, ores, gems, etc., and items made out of those), which means I spend less to buy them. But that doesn't dismiss the fact that it's cheating.

As for me, I wouldn't get any satisfaction out of using a bot to raise my levels, and that's why I don't use a bot. I don't have 99 in anything, but what I do have, I got for myself by legitimately playing the game.

The point is that before you go defending your website and attacking Sythe, be sure your own backyard is clean. It's not. You sell a bot that cheats. That's against the rules.

And for the record: the people who do use bots tell me that IBot is no better than Rsbot or Scar and is broken just as often---and also that most of the scripts suck donkey. Why people would pay $15 for that and however much more per script baffles me.

Why would you want to pay $15 a month? That's pretty expensive for just a bot. You could play WoW, even though I hate that game. Why did the admin scam though?

1st. He is talking about scamming withing your own community, Sythe is very well known for scamming, in fact, I bet if I try to buy some mills of someone in here, I have 90% chance of getting scammed. Sythe has also been known for the amount of Mods, and even Admins that have scammed people.

Hypocrites.

There is a free version of NeXuS, as well as the pro version which is way better than most bots.

The scripts are great compared to any other bot which is alive ATM.

Oh, and BTW, He was an admin a long time ago(about 3 yrs ago).

He was not admin at the time he got banned.

Nexus/Ibot uses reflection. Or it's SAID to use reflection. Friends who use bots tell me that reflection is generally broken in Nexus or that many of the scripters don't know how to code it in.

Ditto on a bot needing to be minimized. Everybody I talked to who uses bots agrees that they won't use a bot which can't run in the background (minimized). That would leave the "Lite" version of Nexus out of the equation.

I cruised the site today (banning my IP last month for disagreeing with your policies doesn't keep me out). It looks like a lot of the scripters there are selling their scripts, making RSCA(M) about the same as the Sythe paid guides section used to be before Sythe eliminated it.
