The reason why many people get scammed is these following reasons
1.) X is offering a lower price for his service, Why can't you do 1-99 construction for 5gp?
2.) X joins 2 days ago trying to sell a nearly maxed account for 25m
3.) Buying any account on Player Auctions

People get too greedy and most of these people are young and inexperienced kids. They don't understand that this is a black market on the internet. People will take advantage of naivety. I wish there could be more restrictions on new accounts that haven't yet proven themselves. Sythe should have implemented a feedback system a long time ago like on most botting sites that can see all your good trades without having to go on a vouch thread.
What needs to be done is making scamming much more harder here. I was hoping that this site would someday implement a better system to combat this, but knock on wood here. Scamming is a big business is on here and who's gonna stop it? It's easier to get money and keep the gold rather than do the work to earn it.
It is way to easy to scam on this site and leaving new people to figure this stuff out will only turn them away in the end

He had a decent business and a good amount of trades, doesn't really make sense why he would take the short term money when he could have easily made more running his business.

Seems likely that he was ban evading and got caught in the same cycle as @Away and Chris Kane. Where they think they are in too deep and can't come back.

Sucks because these users clearly have the work ethic to grow their profiles, and could probably run a fairly successful business, but end up throwing it all away instead of just making things right and making more money.

 

But wait! Lets give these scumbags a chance to NOT pay their debts and play games with the community to offset their debts instead Hmm...

He was burnt out from his own business. He must have thought that because he was scammed many times (probably) that he decided to scam the community to get what he lost.
Honestly this is faulty logic and could really hinder their lives. They are not happy people at all, If I had the status that plankgang I would be so happy

I have been on this grind for 6 and a half years now... I have been scammed, I have been compromised and yet I have always been back stronger than ever because I know it's something i'm keen on and I know how to run business correctly. He had the brains to do well, but decided not to :\

I get what you mean, and yeah I can imagine he is happy now. It isn't that he was "scammed" it was that he risked what the rest of us risk when we get into the black market foruming and that's bans.

He cant blame other people or take it out on them for being unreasonable when it comes to bans, he said to someone in one of the reports he lost what 10-15B due to bans, which would all be botting/RWT related.
