SLaDE: SytheLib Development Environment


SLaDE is a development environment built around the C++ interpreted scripting language ChaiScript. It acts as a wrapper for SytheLib, an automation library built in C++. Its primary use-case is for automating tasks in games but it can be used for anything. Possible tasks include mouse and keyboard automation, as well as tasks based on bitmaps and colours (rudimentary computer vision).


SLaDE allows its users to develop scripts and run them contiguously, as would be expected from any modern IDE such as Visual Studio. SLaDE also comes with tools to make SytheLib script development easier, such as a colour and bitmap selector, a mouse coordinate display, an integrated console for input and output, a clip bin, window handle analyzer (called WinSiphon), and documentation, with more on the horizon.

Known bugs:

• Colour and bitmap selectors don't do anything without a global hwnd set. There should at least be a message telling you to set a global hwnd before using these tools.
• Closing WinSiphon without an item selected will "wipe out" the global window handle if a previous one was set.

Why alpha?
I can only do so much testing myself, so test for me pls and post bugs here.

 

Dumb question but I’ll ask it anyway:
Could this affect the banrates of scripts that have previously been used on SDE?

 

What do you mean? The scripts stay the same

 

Was just a way of asking if the new software has any chances of affecting the banrates even if the scripts stay the same? Not sure if you catch me

 

Oh right. There shouldn't be much of a difference since it's an IDE and has no built in antiban but maybe I'll add a little something in the future

 

Updated it tonight with a small bug fix so that it's actually usable now lmao

 

Recently updated to use WinSiphon, also updated the auto update feature a bit. More work needs to be done on that front.

Started working on a documentation builder that Sythe and I can use to make serializable documentation for use in Slade. That's going to be a big and really nice feature.

 

Haven't had the chance to update yet and we're on alpha 10 now lol

A little preview of what's to come (this update is not out yet - it will be soon):

Totally new console that behaves more like a standard system console. You can put script input directly in the console itself and not in a weird little unintuitive text box like before. SLaDE will also now make the system output a little more user friendly instead of being straight json. Oddly enough this took a lot of work...

I'd like to make some other QOL changes next update to make SLaDE more user friendly overall. Maybe a little "getting started" wizard, better clip library, less text and more icons, a documentation browser, etc.

Nope, just Windows and whatever you use to run RuneScape or whatever game you're botting on

Quick Bug:

SytheLibProt.exe was out of date when I downloaded SLaDE which wasn't allowing me to run my script until I downloaded the newest executable, deleted the old one from the SLaDE directory, and replaced it with the newest version of SytheLibProt. (This may be working as intended and if so I apologize)

 

Weird, alpha10 is the newest and is what is packaged with Slade. Have any more info? Were certain functions crashing the program or something?

 

Yessir im on mobile so i forgot the actual function but it was the mouserandomclick that wasnt working
