New users

What percentage of new users do you think is:

A: Getting an account with the intention of scamming
B: A Vader?

Also, anyone know roughly how many new acc’s are created each month?

 

It would be hard to get correct numbers with this as it is impossible to know for sure if a new user has bad intentions or not.

My guess would be ~~

A: 30% lots of new guys tend to scam.
B: 20% lots of vaders as well but seems to have died down a bit.

Currently - 486,647 members just check back next month to get a rough estimate of new accs per month.

my estimates would be the reverse; A:20, B:30.

 

It would be hard to measure but I’m sure its a considerable amount. Lets work on countering that!

 

well it's people like u lot who don't give people a chance, I got TWC'd for a wireless connection to my router via wifi, I have no intentions of trading due to the fact u earn more money irl then on sythe (or less ure a bogla) :O

 

Honestly, it really sucks that it's like this but I think there is a high percentage of people that have the intentions of scamming, or
ban evading at that, which usually results in scamming anyways. When I first registered here, people called me a ban evader and a
scammer because I mentioned I have been on the community 9 years ago - it was 9 years ago and I was super inactive. I am hoping
that people will have a change of heart and see how much profit they can make within the market with trust & respect. I have made
24M in a couple days just from doing AFK stuff and getting rid of throwaway accounts. I plan on becoming a trusted member and I
have seen profit for 100M's per month. I don't know why people have the intention of scamming so much, but I have also noticed
that alot of members are younger people, and there is in fact kids that are playing this game. It's weird to be 24-25 and see kids that
are 18 years old, 16 years old, scamming.

Markets like this are always going to attract that kind of attention unfortunately

 

Speaking from experience no doubt?

 

Really there's no saying what percentage of new users are scammers or vaders. But we can easily find the number of registrations per month.

According to The Wayback Machine, the 9/18 snapshot of the homepage shows 520K total users. Now there is 524K. That's an increase of 4K over 30 days. Then going back to 8/24 there was 517K, which is about 3K over the course of 3 weeks.



I'd say about 4K registrations per month sounds accurate.

 

Given the numbers, I would say 3,700 of those are bots, scammers, evaders, un-active users, etc.
That's just my opinion.

Seems like the majority are scammers or vaders. Which is why vouches are important

 

Majority imo.

 

I think a lot are scammers and or here for gold buying/selling.
