    Thanks for everyone who went out there way to help a person out when he was at his lowest, ure advice alone gave me inspiration to take action. But since I was laughed at for writing this in discord, I will now request a closure on this thread.

    If anyone has gone or is going through what I am going through this thread will help.

    Time to hit the gym and hit back ;/, I wouldn't skip school because of this tho. It's not worth it.

    I live in the uk, A city called Coventry. I can't really do much it's most of the college, I don't want skip it I am literally bullied all day with no friends. It's literally heartbreaking being singled out and picked on for hardily no reason.

    thanks for the advice, But if you don't get bullied u won't know how it is and feels, I try to be as positive as possible but its hard maybe this life isn't for someone like me

    I can relate but it's a different situation. It's still the same feelings. If it kept on happening, I would of lay'd hands but it stopped. Not because of some gangster feelings but because 'fk em, 0 fks given'.

    well I am glad u went in and came out the other side even more confident,Hopfully I will get over it. Just want to be like a normal 17 year old with some friends.

    Hi there,

    First of all I am sorry to hear that you are going through such a horible thing. One thing you should do right away is mention that to your parents, whichever one you feel the most comfortable with and in this situation it's usually dad. I have had alot of experience with being bullied when I was younger, I felt hated, disrespected, neglected, like nobody cared about me.

    You need to talk to someone about it - it will help!

    Another thing that you need to do is something to boost your self confidence, when you're being brought down it's important to do something that will give you a huge ego boost for yourself, this may sound silly but it's true. I took up martial arts, after a couple months of being in martial arts doing boxing and jiu jitsu, I have found much more peace with my inner self and was so much happier with the things that I was doing with my life.

    My heart felt good, I felt good, and I felt like I could beat up any one of these bullies, and I eventually stood up for myself.

    The day when you're so confident with yourself, and love yourself so much, that you're ready to do what it takes to stand up for yourself and be happy, you will do it, and it will be the most amazing feeling ever.

    Trust me man, give it a shot!

    Hey,

    When I was in highschool I switched schools and knew nobody when I got there, I used to get picked one because I used to be very short and quiet. Started skipping school because I didn't feel like dealing with it anymore there was one guy in particular that was going at me every hour of the day. School found out I was skipping, informed my dad about it so I was forced to go back and deal with it. Teachers didn't do nothing while it was obvious I was the quiet guy getting picked on.

    After about 10 months I got sick and tired of it and was he bugging me early in the morning while being in class so I got out of my chair and started punching him in the face, he was shook didn't even started hitting me back, teacher was asking people in my class to break the fight up but nobody stood up for him. That's when everything stopped, not saying that's going to work out for everybody but I'm still very proud of that moment :).

    Thank you for ure kind words, I don't really have the confidence to start anything but would Martial arts would be enjoyable, How shall I go about doing this?, I would love to have the confidence to feel like I can do what I want when I want. I really don't want to skip college anymore as this could effect my whole future, Also it's not just 1/2/3 people it's literally like 50 even sometimes the girls join in. It's quite brutal at the college.

    But I don't get why people single u out because u was very short? Some people are just brutal horrible and nasty, :( but well done for standing up to a bully. I don't think it will work in my case as it's most of the college, Thank you for being so nice.

    You have to man-up for this and go to some of your local gyms and explain to them that you're going through a hard time and feel like martial arts may help you with your struggles in life, such as being bullied, and whatever else may be bothering you. Gyms are very respectful, and open to new joiners & it becomes a brotherhood, nobody will pick on you, everybody encourages each other, joining martial arts was a life changing experience for me. It may not do the same thing for you as it did for me, but you could always give it a try and see how it goes.

    It is a huge confidence boost. I would be straight up and tell them that you're interested in joining a martial art because of your life situation and you don't feel confident and need some self motivation & encouragement to help you overcome being depressed.

    They will welcome you with open arms, you'll join a family of people training to become better with themselves. It'll be a great experience brother, now get out there and do it.

    I am, Just going to find a gym what does martial arts and just go for it! u guys have made it abit clearer. I don't wanna be a punching bag all my life and the only person who can change it is myself I want to be confident or atleast have something to get out of bed for, I didn't really consider gyms because I am not confident about myself but martial arts is the perfect way to help me get some motivation/confident, I cannot re-pay u all for suggesting this.
