Lol I don't blame him for being angry with me but I can make it right with him if he allows me to. But since Derik assumed my full debt toward him he actually has little reason to be angry at me now..especially since I DID make attempts to send payments and all of my offered methods were all declined besides "send me cash through the mail" which is grade A retarded for anyone to ever send cash through mail as it can be easily stolen, is difficult if not impossible to document from a Sythe perspective if it is later contested/claimed it was never received (which it could have been given his saltiness toward me), etc. Much more instantaneous and easily documented options were offered and declined for equally retarded backasswards logic reasons (mostly interminable laziness). So from my perspective, repayment was not a priority on his part. Any perceived urgency was theatrical (or else my offered methods would have been accepted). From my perspective it was more fun for him having that power trip over me whilst offering very limited (and aforementioned RETARDED) options for repayment. Options that could have easily gone awry via external forces (someone stealing it) or himself (pocketing it and claiming I never sent it). Do I think he would have done that? I'd hope not. But would it be stupid to take that needless risk? Yep. Which is why I didn't do it.

But ironically I am glad it happened that way because it did spur me on toward fixing many of my flaws. People here like to pretend they don't have any is the problem lol.

It's also hard to offer repayment and then be accused (behind my back no less) that I'd charge it back. Then be blocked for laughing at that. Yes, I want to send money to charge it back. 200 IQ.

I'm an asshole for taking on more loans than the one I already had (TTB) but I also have to be given the opportunity to un-ass-hole myself.

Despite his comment I still care about all of my fellow Sythe friends as if they were rl friends.

Edit: Pig/ @Dank took over the debt. Now I can pay him back with rancid bacon. You can still re-add me Talon if you want. If not cool. I don't have to deal with you from a debt perspective anymore which is a mutual joy, trust me.

Anyway, I wasn't joking with people when I said it'd take me quite a while to get to where I want to be. I STILL am not fully there. But I am working on it. And I do give a fuck about Stalon even if he thinks I don't. That said he made repayment needlessly difficult time and time again out of his own stubbornness and ego. That was pretty clear when I offered to not participate on Sythe/the Sythe Discord chat at all until the debt was lessened and it was later pretended that I never offered that concession (which I have discord logs proving it was offered and declined..) when I had been banned from the chat instead (which again, blessing in disguise..glad it happened).

So yeah Talon was well within his rights to be pissed off at me. And I was well within my rights to be pissed off at him for making repayment a chore and rigmarole it didn't need to be. But now that Derik has assumed that full debt, it's water under the bridge to me. I will let bygones be bygones. And if not, oh well. But I won't sit here and not point out that he was not blameless in that debt not being significantly reduced multiple times. The fact @Dank absorbed the entire debt illustrates clearly his belief in me to clear the debt given easily feasible options to pay it off (which as stated we have been successful with before when I owed him). Win win for everyone. No more headaches for anyone. And he got his cash. The saltiness on my end is long dissipated. Talon's a good guy ultimately but handled the situation less than ideally, in my opinion. I'm ready to bury that hatchet though if he wants. I will never not say I wasn't a complete ass for taking an additional loan I had no business taking. But I was made to look like an ass a lot after that when repayment was attempted and rebuffed for pretty asinine reasons. That's the part that didn't sit well with me.

But it's done. It's over. Derik has assumed the full debt and I'll be paying him back. And at this point he probably knows me better than anyone on the forum, so he knows I'm ultimately good for it. Why the fuck else would I be on this three fourths dead website lmao. My only goal has been and continues to be being at $0 in debt. There's literally no other reason for me to be here. My 16 total posts since my pledge to not regularly post until my debts are cleared (which was already 8 months ago now), attests to that. And great strides have been made in that time period to right my wrongs - found a new job - finished grad school - moved and am living on my own again - etc. It's all a process. Now one of the last pieces of that process is to get my TTB and Derik debt to $0. I've laid the foundation to do just that. I realize that process invariably results in lost friendships due to my past mistakes. But I cannot control or change past me. Only future me. And that's just how the cookie crumbles eh.

So if you're cool with me, preciate it. If you're not cool with me, I understand. This place will be but a speck of a memory for many soon, if it isn't already. I'm not interested in Sith Drama anymore. All of it is recycled and boring. I'm here to right my wrongs and check in with old friends who still believe in me and that's about it.

It's from relatively soon after the TTB stuff. Isn't recent.

And when the only option offered to repay that other debt is by sending cash through the mail... aka no paper trail, no way to confirm he got it, and no way to confirm it on my updated repayment threads ...it's not going to be repaid. And when other legitimate offered methods of sending money are turned down for nonsensical reasons (which is all logged on Discord), then it's not going to be repaid. One such offered payment was through Facebook's payment option, which are only allowed to be paid with a debit card (so funds have to be available or it is declined), and the receiver instantly receives the funds to his/her bank account. But it was declined because "I don't want to take the 3 seconds it makes to make a FB account". Paypal was also declined (offered before my account got cucked and limited). But then I'm expected to stuff a bunch of money in an envelope and send it to some address. K lol. No..if I send money back for a debt it's going to be something easily documented and able to provide receipt(s) on if necessary.

That would have been the dumbest way to send repayment, and isn't something I'd even do for people I know in real life.

So I'm glad Derik took over ownership of the debt because he has offered me non 19th century ways of repaying previous debts owed to him. And ways that can, y'know..actually be documented and proven if they are later contested.

The TTB debt has been whittled down in the meantime with payment methods that aren't ancient.
