I read something about Death, tell me your thoughts.

I didn't know Sythe had a section for random shit but here it is.

"If you've ever truly thought about a time where you've died in you dream, you ALWAYS wake up when you "die" in a dream, for one simple reason; your body is incapable of imagining what death is since every imagination is compiled of thing's we've seen or experienced."

Tell me your thoughts on that^

 

I believe in a higher power. That's why we don't see anything after we supposedly die in the dream because we aren't supposed to see what happens next just yet.

 

We have experienced death. We were dead since the birth of the universe and after our short experience of life we will be dead again until the end of time.

 

Well, there's that statement, but I've heard other explanations. Honestly, I believe that dreams or deja-vu moments are strongly connected with the constuction of the universe. Presuming it consists of a numerous amount of strings - alternate universes - where every choice made makes a new string appear. So, adding there the morphogenetic field theory, I suppose that dreams are our experiences from alternate realities.

 

Why wouldn't we be able to imagine something we've never experienced? Have you never picked up a sci-fi/fantasy book/general fiction book? Where do you think those ideas came from?

Also I've never, ever, woken up after dying in a dream.

Why would dreams have access to what happens after death? If we can dream unrealistic scenarios, shouldn't we be able to dream what happens after death?

I hope there is a after life for heaven and hell, I wanna pick hell and hunt the people I dislike! Would be funny af.

This is true asF. No wonder I dream of weird stuff. Oooo. Tells alot about our human brain when we dream. Dreams don't create ideas. Ideas create the dream.

 

Death = nothing so obviously you cant imagine it lol.

No we havent. "experienced" means "having knowledge or skill in a particular field, especially a profession or job, gained over a period of time". Thus having been conscious. The definition of death is the loss of consciousness, and to not come back.

There is nothing after death. Just pure nothingness

 

Most likely true, unfortunately, we won't truly know until our time is up.

I've had a couple of dreams where I've died. In the first (the only one I can remember in detail rn) I didn't actually wake up; I found myself still in the dream. I became lucid, and that was also the first time that happened.

Ever since I've remained pretty attached to that idea, that after death I'll wake up "elsewhere."

is an illusion or just not how most think of it... It's rather a very odd way of thinking and that is to see death as just another passing and someone else being reborn including yourself

 

Once i did that, and got same result as you. I also tried on purpose to die when i sleep in my dreams, ahhaha i step off 40th floor building, and there i woke up. But sometimes when i smoke too much, i do imagine about the exact moment when you die, like 1 sec before the bullet touch your head.. And sometimes i was getting 'space movies' in my head) some colors switching (black\white\grey). But in result i still dont know or even not about to know 10% of it.

 

Can you elaborate on what "space movies" are?

I think you're making it too complex, but I hope it's something better than we could ever imagine.
