My 3 Month Sythe plan.

Hey all

I'm on Sythe to basically fund me and my wife (and children) to travel to the following places on our bucket list:
Poland
Hungary
Canada
Egypt
Croatia

We both have full time jobs, and as some of you already know on other posts, we have 3 children ages 6, 4 & 2.

My Plan :

• To donate $100 by the end of September.
• To establish a trade reputation by ~December time. (in time for me to buy up some cheaper OSRS gp before Christmas)
• To stock up on GP from October-December, buying a steady rate of GP each month until I have ~£1500-£2000 GPB invested in BTC/LTC/07GP & Paypal.

Then, once I have my initial investment concreated, my plan is to not allow my trades to go above said amounts. To use only that currency (with a small bond put aside for potential hiccups - £500?) and to use any profit I make to deposit into a savings account I have made. This will be said holiday fund.

Myself & my wife will be adding ~£200-250 per calendar month into our own holiday fund and this plan was designed for longevity, I won't be operating as a business and trading will only be in our spare time.

I have a few questions.

Would me & my wife need to use a separate account to conduct our trading? I.E, if i'm at work and she's at home is she allowed to access the same account and trade using the same account? Or is this an absolute NO?

Is 07 gold the correct place to go? Or should I focus on crypto markets?

Am I allowing myself enough room to profit with my proposed investment?

07 Gold can be quite volatile and stockpiling gold for an extended period of time leaves you not only vulnerable to price fluxuation but also bans if the gold is stored without proper precautions.

I would think that is a safe amount to make a little bit of profit. However as mentioned above, you would want to trade the gold pretty actively.

 

I definitely wouldn't recommend holding onto gold.

You want to quickly buy it and quickly sell it with a decent margin to ensure you make a profit safely. The OSRS GP market is in no way stable, the prices go up and down all the time for seemingly no reason. Jagex could also make an update at any time causing the price to drop dramatically.

You may not want to "invest" in RSGP. Prices fluctuate frequently. Also, unsurprisingly, gold prices decrease in the long run.

 

Thanks guys. So far the major point i'm taking is that holding my money within paypal/cryptos would be the best course of action, then using that money to trade where possible at a profit.

Very interesting plan you guy’s have here.
I honestly, haven’t ever seen someone map out goals of theirs, while using RSGP as the means to fund those goals.
Super interesting concept and I look forward to watching the progression

 

We have reached the £1k goal in BTC so far, once we reach £~2K we will start buying and selling on a larger scale. We have now booked (out of our own money) for a family retreat in Budapest in February, We just couldn't wait I've also now decided that getting a part-time job on a crypto betting/gold website may be the way forward (evenings and weekends) as I can put a deposit down and earn some steady commission, that's still yet to be decided.

I've also just taken a promotion (last week) which is eating up slightly more of my time, my wife however is stepping back slightly in her role to allow more time for the children. This also begs the question again, will she have to make her own account? Or can we share and trade via this account?

As far as I am aware, which I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure you and your wife can occupy the same account.
I know this is the case for MANY gold selling sites, sometimes employee’s of the site operate the Sythe acc of the main user. (Once again, I could be wrong, but I am pretty confident, that this is okay.)

Nice plan, cryptos always rise on end of the year, not sure bout rsgp tho. Goodluck and I really wish that you accomplish your goal and get to spend a nice vacation with your family.

Like people said you shouldnt leave money on accounts in large sums imagine you wake up to be banned you would be devasted

This inspired me to make one of these aswell as I am using sythe for some side income too!

 

Good luck with your maxed main rentals, might be worth donating to make you look more trusted. Or at least do a sale like 50% off. Sorry OP for going slightly off topic.

 

1% of Sythe have already made it and are actually making more then what they would make at a decent job, then 99% are failing to make half of a Mcdonald's fry cook, and frankly you would probably end up in the 99%.

Spend more time with your kids or something (assuming they actually exist) and don't try to chase $50 a month

 

I think the 99% doesn't care enough to make it successful.

 

It can be tedious and competitive, but pull through and it will pay off.
