A friend has been banned

Hes from lithuania and the same city as I live in, his apartment he lives in costs around 20k and he said that he got as much money to buy an apartment like that and have a little left so he got like 25-30k only, what are u talking about 100k haha

 

the runescape community is so hypocritical its mad. 100% of the people crying would accept the 100k he was paid. shame video makers can't do things like this, would help incentivise better videos etc.

 

Exactly what I thought. Was watching like a 100 viewer streamer rant on and on about how he doesn't stream for the money and all that and he likes the interaction more than money blah blah, like boy we all know you small streamers would take this deal in an instant

 

A Friend's always been one to push the boundaries. He advertised and used the OSHD client last summer. He didn't make any money from this, and risked his account just to show the community a free alternative. He's a good guy in my books.

It might have been the biggest lump sum he's ever been offered. It probably turned out a bit more sour than he expected. Luckily for him, he's been allowed to start fresh.

 

Tldr? He got banned for advertising stake.com? As in, verbally sayin in his vids to visit stake.com? Or just having stake.coms banner displayed on his youtube vids/twitch?

Also, what is this 'scamming controversy' ppl are referring to.

 

I honestly really liked watching him, his accent beats any other haha xD
Sucks to be losing that many accounts/wealth etc though.

Because he got paid gp for doing a shoutout for their service while also getting a heavy sum of cash. Jagex does not want their high status players associated gambling services like those. Kinda similar how they forced a rename for Suomi when the kony2012 thing was around, he changed his name to KONY 2012 IRC while being rank 1 on highscore.

 

He got what he deserved I guess...
