Site Problems Thread

@Sythe not sure if it's on purpose but I can only lookup 2 of your posts, as seen here:

 

The site in general for me has been slow for nearly 2 years now. Not too slow, just a bit (more so loading times). It's defs not my internet.

I posted a while back on this thread (apparently you can't search within threads anymore?) - more often than not, whenever I visit a page on this forum, I need to refresh it again, for it to load properly. In the instances it loads off the bat, images and what not load a while later. There's no consistency to this madness really, it can persist for hours at a time, sometimes never at all, sometimes for just 1 minute.

Is there any fix for this? If not, not really a big issue, just a pet peeve I guess.

 

I have the same with notifications half of the time at the moment.

Not sure if it's website related or browser, if it's website related I don't mind too much.

 

I have that issue as well haha.

I search someone up and I can only find 1-2 things on them.

I've been seeing that avatar issue for months... also there's a similar issue with the signature spot, When you split a signature up to insert links, it always leaves a 1px gap. This is only for the signature spot, now if I were to post this exact image on my thread it'll be normal with no 1px gap. I'll provide an example below.

its not that serious as many won't notice it but I tend to always catch them and its kinda annoying

I get an error everytime I try to login with 2FA. I never had a problem, but now I can't login on my desktop (even though the 2FA code is correct).

Edit : Fixed. Google Authenticator App was out of sync.

 

I have the same problem, that is why i took it off. Every time it gave an error while the code was correct

 

Have you tried clearing cookies/cache?

 

Yes. Even tried other browsers & devices.

 

tried resetting your secret therefore resetting 2fa wo deleting it?

 

@Ultimay This wasn't a Sythe problem for me. It looks like the Google Authenticator app was "Out of sync". You need to go in "Settings" -> "Time correction for codes" -> "Sync Now". It is possible that the app was showing codes a bit too late or early. By doing that, you "resync" the internal time of the app, which allows it to show the appropriate code at the right time again.

Is the site getting DDoSed, or is it just me experiencing insanely slow load times? Also, randomly getting the, 'site is offline - retry for a live version' message.
