Whole of Staff Feedback

Thanks alot man, I've actually considered doing this for a while when I considered this all as too much on my plate, but I guess indirectly by my experience here I started considering most of the things not-so-important anymore. I don't do counterscams, I don't take private reports, I have all kinds of useful stickies lined up to be send right away to everyone, I don't DNT/TWC anyone anymore without a report and so on. It's practically all about how hard you make it yourself: people will always get scammed and I'm starting to feel less and less relevant to preventing that. The most stressful thing I still can't understand are the users themselves; especially the impatient ones who are unable to understand that when someone doesn't respond they're not there, so there's no use to keep asking them if they are there yet for about every hour. That still pisses me off.

Have you considered re-applying? I would love to work with you or anyone that used to be moderator/admin when I first joined the site (which is only 2 years ago lol).

I didn't delete the post. I went to check who deleted it and what the content was. Please stop wasting staff time.

 

You, or the mod who deleted it, still havent said why it was deleted. Staff is wasting their own time.

 

Your post was spam. Since you're begging for it, I've issued the warning another staff member was sparing you from.

You keep spamming this thread about a post being deleted, it was properly deleted for being SPAM, your post wasm't relevant, and it had no meaning to the thread, stop posting here hungry for a staff answer, instead move past it now, and in the future pm any mod asking what happened, they will gladly say who deleted it, and you can question them. Someone reported it, the mod answered the report.

 

a thread about signups for a game and me stating i cant signup because I dont play said game. seems pretty relevant actually. thanks for the full reply though, appreciate it. now we can all stop spamming and dragging this out. cool.

 

@WantaCookie going by your logic of 'not spam', we all might aswell post on every single service/sales thread on Sythe and state, 'sorry not interested in your services', without any precursor as to why.

It's like me going on every single gold selling thread and posting, 'sorry dont want to buy your gold'. What on earth does that achieve, or even contribute to the thread at hand?

 

He posted on a cdt event, i didn't bother responding 1 last time cause i just want him to stop posting, either way it didn't help anything.

The difference is context. A business is different than a friendly community event. If people are having a poker night I would say oh I dont play poker/like gambling, so I wont be going. Im not going to go to a flowershop and say I wont be buying your flowers. I participate in all CDT events and there was an event I cant participate in for once so I mentioned it. I believe the CDT members took it as offensive because of Vengs earlier reply but that wasn't the motive.

 

I wanted to post feedback, but then I realised I've got no idea what any of the current staff who changed names were previously called . Would be good to have this, or if someone PM'd me this, that way my feedback is somewhat more accurate, rather than basing it on post-name change only.

But for my 666th post, I just want to say I appreciate everything all of you do for Sythe during your busy lives, from @Sythe to @Andy Samberg all of you have a special place on this site, and even though sometimes people give you shit, I hope you shrug it off. All of you try your hardest, and you can't really ask for more, or a better team for now at least so thank you @Andy Samberg @Champ @Charlotte @Gen @Hahanerd @Island @Killswitch @King @Panda @Pendulum @Shin @Sythe @video @Wortel for doing your best to help Sythe grow and maintain it's place. Now that I have 666 posts I'm going to go cry, bye.

 

As a new Discord user, it's great to see how easy it is to contact staff when needed. More often than not you can get a staff member to assist you within a reasonable amount of time.

I guess this is more so the benefit of Discord rather than staff being available. However, both need to work in tandem for the above to be successful. So, good job lads.
