Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers

I keep getting this error every time. I've gotten a 7 day cooldown just because of this now. I've literally tried every solution listed here but the issue keeps reoccuring. Does anyone here have any experience with this issue? Would be shame if this would result in me never being able to play CSGO again.

 

Alright, have you tried right clicking cs:go on steam libary, properties, local files and "verify integrity of game files" this worked for me when I had similiar issues, also couple mates of mine fixed it by typing "/scannow" on CMD, also remember to try if it works on casual instead of competive so u won't risk getting longer cooldowns.

 

Already tried those 2 solutions.

 

What antivirus are you currently using?

 

None, Windows Defender. I do have SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes on my PC but they are both not supposed to be running and I think they aren't.

 

Have you tried this , if that doesn't work Im clueless, might want to read comments on various posts incase there's other possible fixes you might've missed.

Could try the administrator thing but doubt that'll work.
I don't use CCleaner before/after gaming.
I don't have a wireless network connection.

 

Try to update all your drivers if not up to date. And if CCleaner, try if it works with it uninstalled, happened to see that being mentionned more than once to cause troubles when I was searching for a solution.

 

Graphic drivers are always up to date, don't think there's much else to update.

I use the Portable version of CCleaner.

 

Check the LAN driver aswell if you don't have a wireless one. Have to admit that it's probably a longshot though.

 

Happened to me as well after cleaning pc with CCleaner, what you have to do is close, cs:go. Verify game files AND restart your pc. Restarting steam does not count.

Repair the Steam Service
The error may also indicate a Steam service failure. Please try repairing the Steam service:

   "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\bin\SteamService.exe" /repair
4. Launch Steam and test the issue again.

Note: This command requires administrator privileges and may take a few minutes. If you have installed Steam to another path, please replace C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam with the correct path.

Restore boot settings to default
Kernel integrity checks, kernel debugging, and Data Execution Prevention (DEP) must be set to default to play on VAC secured servers.

If you receive the following error when entering these commands they are already set to default:

To change boot settings to default please follow the steps below:

1. Exit Steam.
2. Click the Start button, then All Programs, and Accessories.
3. Right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator....
4. In the command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
   • bcdedit /deletevalue nointegritychecks
   • bcdedit /deletevalue loadoptions
   • bcdedit /debug off
   • bcdedit /deletevalue nx
5. Restart your computer.
6. Launch Steam and test the issue again.

There may be corrupt system files that are causing this issue. The following instructions will run a critical system file check on your Windows installation, replacing any missing or damaged files:

1. Exit Steam.
2. Click the Start button, All Programs, and Accessories.
3. Right-click on Command Prompt and click Run as administrator....

5. Once the operation has completed please restart your computer, then launch Steam and test the issue again.

Fairly sure I don't have any, I do have some launch settings set up but I don't know if those could cause this error.

Only other thing you can do is reinstall your whole computer so its fresh... that should fix everything unless you have a vac ban... that's the only thing it could be now if you've tryed everything else.

I played cs go for a while and had to deal with nearly every bug to do with that game and always found a fix... so if none of them things are working its got to be a vac ban.

as i say tho try reformat your computer wiping everything this should work if you have no vac ban.
