I started getting into CSGO and was looking for skins. Eventually I somehow found out @PartyPete sold the skin I've always wanted and he's asked me to vouch on Sythe. That's how I got here, so you can blame it all on him.

When will you be uploading your next runescape music video? I have been waiting for 4 years now.

 

I still love watching them, but sadly the motivation to create them has been lost. Maybe in the far future.

 

You seem to be the most active moderator here, I just would like to know, what do you get out of it? Are mods paid?

 

No, we do not get paid, all work you do here is either because you like it or because you get satisfaction out of it. For me it's the latter I guess, I just like help people out, keep things ordenized et cetera.

You're cool, I like you, though I do not like how you've been bickering so much about things in the past with the CDT team. Neither do I like how you handled with the situation of me reporting you aswell as denying your pardon. After all I was just doing my job and one of the most important qualities of being a moderator is not to let your personal feelings overtake your professional attitude/duties. Last but not least I didn't like how you've been trolling about suicides etc in the Spam Forum. That's about it.

I'm interested if Sythe is your only "job" now and did you have any form of university education/Career path before you became a mod?

 

Yes, currently I'm unemployed therefore I have quite some time to spent on Sythe. It'll become less eventually for sure. I've never went to any university because I never really know what kind of carreer I'd like to have. I'm not really a businessman. I used to work in a few supermarkets and I'd love to get back there as I had fun doing that kind of work and being customers of assistance, just like I am helping the Sythe staff team out mainly because I like helping people out. I'm not here to receive any kind of income.

 

That's very interesting, have you ever considered entering a community-based role for a company who operated within the games industry? I think you'd be surprised how valuable all of the hard work you have done here on Sythe is. I personally got a community-based role because of My experiences being unique and applicable.

 

Never really considered it but for most jobs you'd need to have some kind of degree which I do not have. And somewhere deep inside me all I really want is get back to the supermarket, maybe eventually I'll realise that I can't work there forever.

Agreed, majority of places do require a degree, but but nothing beats personal experience and a strong personality. I wouldn’t consider my self academic at all but my strengths would come from my ability to portray and adapt.

Honestly take a look and apply with sythe as the forefront of your application, it would be a refreshing and rare site to see someone have so much community experience from an employers side.

 

I highly doubt anyone would apply to a job with Sythe on their resume, but it sure would be a starting point for a conversation on the job interview.

 

I’ve donne it personally and it works wonders, you’d be surprised how unique and hands on the experience is considered. Especially in the games/tech industry.
