Nevertheless, removing the swastika is censorship. So no, I have to disagree with you.

 

If it offends you, take it up with the person who puts the insignia on their profile.

I'd prefer to deal with the National Socialists in reasoned debate rather than force them underground, making them feel persecuted (uniting force, etc.).

 

But that's the problem. If the people who were freely displaying it (I have no problem with yours, but more to point fingers "TJ"'s) aren't capable of such arguements on an even semi-knowledged level. He stands by a debate which is old and not even valid. He incorporates pure "book smarts" and uses no street knowledge in the displaying of it.

If they could at least hold their end without sounding like whiney dumbass bitches, then sure, go ahead because you know what you're doing. But they have no clue of it. It's not forcing them underground, it's removing a fashion statement.

 

well im Jewish and i hate it when people use this sign sometimes it seems like they dont even know what is behind the sign many of my family got murded by nazi's or sent to concentration camps its even worse since just a few days ago it was the remberence for the holocaust =/. I would like to see this sign banned. For all the people who say its just a sign if you were jewish and your family had been through what they did you would hate this sign with a passion.

I hope someone will eventually get this sign banned it upsets me when i see it =/. Oic.

Freedom of Speech did allow for advancement intellectually, but it can also swing the other way. You allow for crackpot theories to create mob mentalities simply because they have the freedom to say as they choose.

Just because they have the right to do so, does not make it even remotely politically correct.

That's not contradicting. In the context of which people are displaying the symbol does not show a view. The symbol itself is very offensive to many people, and seen as such.

The people on this forum don't have a particular view in this circumstance, they are just showing the sign because they can.

 

The "nazi sign" aka swastica before that was used by the indians and called the flame wheel, in which hitler used as his own because he liked the way it looked. so technically it has nothing to do with nazi's etc. other than they used it. As many other people stated there is no reason to complain about the swastica expecially if you arn't even old enough to have been around when hitler was around to cause all these problems. The reason the world never goes anywhere is because people never know how to just let things go.

 

All you fucking people know how to do is bitch. You need to argue over absolutely everything. What don't you understand about "we don't censor shit here" ? Straight from the words of the fucking owner. What else do you need?

Learn to take things as they are, because one day your urge to argue over everything will fuck you over.
