[DENIED] A DNT change

@Sythe always uses real-life punishments as an example of punishments to use on Sythe (it's why the DNT got introduced in the first place). Now, in real-life a scammer would get two options:

A) Pay back the money
B) Serve a prison time

Why is it that on Sythe we can only choose option A?

My suggestion is to make it possible for people that have gotten DNT to either choose to pay back the money or serve x amount of time as a DNT / banned user after which they can come back to Sythe.

You're referring as if the dnt was the prison but in fact the dnt is a kind of "arrest" if you will. You are held under "arrest" until you pay back your debts and once you have done so, you will be free, that's pure common sense.

You'd need something else like an x amount of time ban to think of it as the prison or something like a trial if you're referring to the real life punishments but still that would be a pain in the ass more than anything else and would not fit with the current established standarts.

 

I have an idea, you should serve a lifetime ban if you want to choose Option B, good day!

@Buyacc please tell me you aren't suggesting that scammers shouldn't have to pay back their debts if they serve a "6 month DNT prison" term. People repay their debts and if they do they get a pardon 3 months following. It's a fair deal I think

 

Or both? Don't scam and pay back your fucking money? Genuinely dumbfounded how you would think this even has the slightest chance of passing.

When in the hell did you think this up @Buyacc ? We are still on a website, @Sythe likes to use IRL situations as precedents as it works well. On the other hand, we are a small community here, if we break our bond we deserve more than just a prison sentence, if you have to go out of your way to make someones life worse (Scamming them) you deserve to be held to both options, I am doing the same right now lol. On the other hand I complained about the pardon system being broken, not the DNT system
