[DENIED] Blackhat Offsite

TLDR: Make it against the rules.

Why? (If you even need an explanation...)

Scamming (or stealing) is against the rules regardless of the victim's status on Sythe. Why is it any different if I were to RAT someone that doesn't use Sythe? Why would that be okay?

I found that blackhat cases are dealt with on a case-by-case basis. I like the idea of judging every report on it's merit, but if you're morally okay with hacking somebody using a RAT (or whatever method you like), is it not safe to predict you will also target Sythe members they come into contact with everyday?

The same could be said for my other thread regarding tweeting and doxing users that do not use or are banned from Sythe. Some thoughts would be appreciated.

 

Honestly I thought this was already a thing. I'm surprised this even has to be said and supported (which I ofcourse do).

If someone is okay with hijacking & doing other immoral stuff on other sites but sythe, what's to say they won't do it here? A rule? Lol. I highly doubt that will stop the people if they have the right mindset & value they can target/get.

The rule is dumb to hell, I can swat as many people as I want so long as it isn't anybody from Sythe.

 

If someone is willing to hack and steal people personal information chances are they would be willing to do it here. I believe what people do outside this community should stay outside, however why even open the doors for that to happen. It doesn't take much for someone who knows what they're doing to spread keylogger around and compromise forum accounts, game accounts or worse the SQL server. If someone is found of hacking/cracking it should be a ban IMO regardless of site.

 

Support aswell.. Previously EWhoring for example was against the rules, but suddenly it is no longer against the rules. Weird though, because if people scam off-site we still DNT/ban them on Sythe (even if they didn't scam anyone on Sythe) but we do allow Sythe users to scam thousands of people for thousands of money through EWhoring?

 

When we say blackhat we mean the really dirty parts (ratting/e-whoring)
not the clean parts(seo/link manipulation/viewbotting/website botting/ ie)

I don't agree that the same case can be made for the tweeting/doxing suggestion. I've posted my reasons there for that, but they do not apply here and users shouldn't be allowed to do this kinda shit

 

Seems like an ignorant miscue really, idk how it isn't already against the rules, if you negatively impact someone else where you can screw off here too. Doesn't do much good when someone has ill intentions and joins here anyways, support.

 

Totally agree. Off site can get you banned (scamming on other sites) so why should real life hacking/black hat (scamming someone in a different, probably a more serious way) be allowed.

No support, this rule was changed to help the site, the ENTIRE staff team came to a consensus to change it.

 

Yes staff positions change overtime, I’m in full support of this and think it should be re polled in sl.

 

And how on earth does turning a blind eye to off-site blackhat activity help the site?

pictures / cam shows / flirting with the intent to receive food/money from the other party in return over the internet.

 

it can also be men pretending to be women in chatrooms or forums (such as sythe) to get them to sign up to a website using their referral link and gain the commission.

 

Eh, if people want to spend money off site that way it's fine.
