That's just a couple minutes of searching. There are tonnes more similar newcomer accounts all over his topic.

If it means anything, I have also filed a report on powerbot as whether he has authorised it or not, his agent/bumper 'Guglio' is bumping 3 topics in each gold section (1 bogla sticky in each section, and 1 non bogla sticky and 1 arcus topic): I don't really want to be the one to complain, but nobody else is gonna

I decided to go on a little hunt today on the basis I identified Arcus was bumping Boglagold earlier this year, and at the time bogla had "forgotten to turn off the autobumper". Now after being patient for over a month I'm tired of this and obviously do have a biased opinion as a competitor, but it takes the piss when my topic is bumped for about 3 mins before ending up on page 2.

edit: found more accounts, gonna stop here. There's lots and lots of fresh newcomers with unique IP's. Some like fairly legit, many have only posted on Arcus' 2007 topic. Unless they are directing customers from live chat to sythe for some reason other than free bumps, then I don't see how this is legit.

 

Two of those names are dutch, is Arcus dutch by any chance?

 

@Divine claims Arcus is Canadian.

 

Upon purchasing at arcus/ bogla they offer you 1m extra gp once you have vouched them at there page, thats why newcomers come snd leave vouches

He's canadian. One of the industry pioneers. If I'm wrong then my deepest apologies go out to him (except for the pb stuff). But if I'm right then he's setting a bad example for other market users as one of the biggest gold sellers to date.

Thought as much. The same IP thing needs explaining I think. If the newcomer bumps/vouches are allowed then I'm getting all of my offsite traffic to do it from now on lol

 

No clue why they would be from the same IP unless some customer created a new account each time to vouch instead of using his same account (not something we ask of course).

As for Powerbot, I will verify with them that our bumping is within the rules, although no one from PB staff has reached out to me saying what we're doing is not allowed.

 

I've looked into this for awhile now, I'll have another moderator to look in this as well.

 

All seems to be fine, even though it's interesting, might be just coincidence. It's a possibility that some people just forget their login details and just make new Sythe accounts. I've asked @kobe23 to reply to this, so atleast he can shed some light on this, even though his IP match with Randy isn't a home IP one.
