Hello guys and girls,

There have been countless suggestions in the suggestion sub-forum for Sythe to have an insurance service in case a scam happens. In one of those suggestions it was said that Sythe itself wont do it, but that forum members are free to make an insurance service as it is a free market. This is why I am making this thread.

Anyone that is looking to boost their trust in trades can do so by giving me an amount of RSGP to hold, which will act as an insurance in case a scam occurs. Just to make things clear, an example of an instance where the insurance service could be needed:

Trader A wants Trader B to train his account to a certain level. Trader A doesnt trust Trader B enough to just hand him his account and valuable items so Trader A requests to use my insurance service. If Trader B then decides to scam (judged by an official scam report) the insurance money that has been given to me to hold will be handed to Trader A.

Of course it is also possible to deposit an amount as insurance just to boost your trust, to show that you are legit and arent going to scam.

At last the insurance money will be safe with me. You can trust me because of multiple reasons:

• 200+ vouches
• 100$ donor
• Trusted with high volumes of money
• Ex PR (Public Relations) Team Leader on Sythe
• Got 90+ scammers / ban-evaders banned and will use my knowledge regarding scammers / ban-evaders to protect you as a buyer/seller as good as possible

To add to the above, I will document all the money that I am currently holding in this thread.This to ensure maximum security of all your funds, as they're always well documented and can be traced back.

It sounds nice, but as others have mentioned, it sounds like a long term(?) middleman of sorts if you're just holding onto it for awhile. Not too sure if there's enough of a benefit to using this over a MM is all.

 

A middleman handles the money of a particular trade. My insurance service acts as a way of showing of trust and isnt ment for any trade in particular. Someone can put an amount in deposit as insurance money and use the sentence "an amount of money has been put in deposit as insurance at Buyacc's Insurance Service" to show of trust at their service thread or any other trading activity.

 

Due to the easy abuse of this system, we cannot allow anyone to run one on this site
