Hatscripts / other method of skype button?

Hey

I'm currently trying to make a skype button work in my sig to protect my future customers, I seem to just get a "X image" sign whenever I copy the URL to my sig. Not sure why, any advice? Or any other methods of making a skype button? (paid or unpaid?)
