We are happy to announce that we are releasing Runeprofiles.com to the public. Runeprofiles is a tool that we created to safely and anonymously display your OSRS account without the need for messy screenshots or gifs. Runeprofiles directly pulls your account stats from the Runescape API, removes your character name, censors the stats that you choose, and then outputs the stats in a clean, easy to read format. Furthermore, you can add your quests, achievements, prayers, items, and bank value to create an all-inclusive listing. You can also create a password for your profile so that you can come back at a later time and edit your account if something changes.

While this is our initial release and there may still be some underlying bugs, we are confident enough in our solution to migrate all of our accounts on Accountwarehouse over to Runeprofiles. That is correct. We developed this tool in order to make it easier to display your Runescape account without a hundred screenshots or gifs. You can easily make a profile and share the URL.

Okay, this....is fucking awesome.

All of the account sales I have went through, having to gather ALL THE DAMN PICTURES is so fucking annoying.

I honestly have no idea how I haven't thought of doing something like this myself. Good job guys

Maybe work on getting it verified by mods so it's something that we would be able to use as accurate proof for account sales, maybe get a bade to put on the site somewhere so people know also.

Thank you for the positive feedback. We have already submitted it to the site admins but they see no use for it. Change is not always met with optimism especially when it's been done the same way for over 10 years.

this is pretty handy i must say. the quest one is a hassle though. pretty good nonetheless.

Some suggestions:
on the skills tab, maybe let the user also choose which skills to like, semi-censor? Stats are "9X" etc. Prices on an account with 90 att/str/def should be different compared to an account with 99 att/str/def; especially with other expensive skills like prayer and time consuming skills like agility, runecrafting, and hunter. The "X" is only good for skills with lower levels.

Also, probably an export image option? So the users can post their account info on sell threads here on sythe and other forums. Including the RuneProfiles watermark of course.

 

Unfortunately OSRS does not support quests with their API so there is no way to input quest information rather than manually importing them. Hopefully we can come up with a better solution for this in the future. You can already choose which skills you want to censor. When you first create a profile, you can select which individual skills to censor or none at all. As far as exporting images goes, we are looking into several different options so that you can embed your Runeprofile on the message boards here, on Facebook, etc. This is our initial release and we have some pretty big ideas for the future.

Easily one of the best things I've seen on here in a while. Well done!

 

On the questing part, I totally understand as that's probably the best you can possibly do. I personally think it's just easier to take screenshots of the quests if a lot of quests are finished. Though using your site's quest tab is definitely better for smaller accounts with fewer quests (e.g. skillers, pures). best of luck.
