about the middleman reports

Trying to remain anonymous to avoid "payback"
I once middle-manned a trade and got banned while holding the funds. This was reported and wortel was one of the mods handling it. I felt like I wasn't responsible but staff didn't see it that way.
Could not find the report (may have been private I do not remember)

Now his situation is exactly the same as mine was back then. I was forced to refund while he wasn't? I see he is trying to offer a "compensation" because he thinks that the two parties involved are "nice people".

How I see it is, he know about the ruling ( because he was involved in my case ) and is trying to avoid having to pay the full amount.
So I am wondering, will Wortel be forced to pay like I was or is he going to get away with paying a partial refund "because they are nice guys".

If the ruling is that he is not responsible while holding the money I would like to get refunded for the amount of money I was forced to refund.

Now don't get me wrong @Wortel I do not believe you should refund but if I had to you should have to as well now. Rules apply for everyone

 

I know who you are and if you truly think I'd ever go out there for "payback" you have yet to get to know me better, which I thought wouldn't be necessary due to you trusting me with over $1k worth of skins. Either way this isn't a scam report nor is this a dispute and this is the wrong place to suggest some changes to the current system. I won't close/handle this because I'm not allowed to, but if you want something to be done about this I suggest you talk to some higher ups such as @video.

 

As wortel said this is not a scam report. Regardless, it is also not our policy to hold staff personally/financially liable for mistaken rulings (not even sure if your situation was a mistaken ruling since I don't know which report this is referring to)
