I've had these arguments with people before. Crypto volatility can make it very difficult to conduct business. I think the bottom line is this:

If a debt is created in USD, then it is owed in USD. The payment method is irrelevant. The debt should be repaid @ the price of crypto when the crypto is sent.

If you want the debt to be at a fixed crypto amount, you make the amount owed a fixed amount of BTC. For example, if you made a deal that you will be paid 0.1 BTC, then you are owed 0.1 BTC.

If you initially make an agreement for a USD value, and wish to then "lock in" a crypto price in the future (essentially converting a USD debt to BTC), both parties should explicitly agree to this change. Without both parties' consensus then the debt remains in the original currency.

Yea but Bus is the biggest trader on Sythe, is too good for a staff position, is the epitome of enlightenment, is more influential than Elon Musk, has owned and run over 500 RSPS, has a nest egg of 5 billion, and is the commander of space and time. When bus can't afford to pay the 5$ paypal fee for sending as F&F you know hes going to be money grubby.

 

Fairly sure @Rael or another (ex)worker of his has had issues with Bus about this before.

 

Funny how he states the contract but the PM contract he supplied only says that he is responsible for paying on Day 26. Nothing about a specific level or that Away has to contact him lol
