Account Bans

So sometimes we do have these services where accounts do get perm banned.

In which if these accounts were botted on a DIFFERENT IP from the op, or by the person who was doing the service it may accept and unban the account.

I recommend putting this in the report section or account training service area.

I think he's trying to mention that some people can get their accounts unbanned by highlighting the fact it was used by a different IP.

Disagree with the suggestion though, it creates a false sense of security if people think they'll be able to recover their accounts in the case of a RWT ban.

Your chances of the unban is completely at the discretion the JMod's and anyone trading on here should already know that.

How exactly would this suggestion help Sythe? It does not seem like this has anything to do with changing how Sythe works, does it?

 

It could be put to a forum where peoples offer various training services because some peoples use bot while training someones account. This way they could get their account ban quashed.

 

So you're suggesting a different category for both RS3 and 07 which seperates handdone and botted training from each other? What kind of difference does that make?

What? I meant was that link could be stickied for the training services forum, not make separate forums.

 

I'm still confused as to what you mean here.

 

He’s saying the way to appeal a ban on your account due to someone’s service or whatnot, sticky the way to appeal the ban so people know

 

That link could be stickied to skill training section. So if someone buys an skill training/minigame whatever service and the service provider uses bot and got customers account banned, there could be a good chance that he will get his account unbanned because the account was on different ip when botted on.

 

Feel free to create a guide in this section but that's about all we can do here. People should know the risks when letting others train their accounts, especially if they are going to bot on it. A sticky helping others in getting them unbanned on RS more easily has got nothing to do with improving Sythe. Denied.
