Imposter scam

His discords the same, received his pm, but on his pm my discord is different

I'm guessing he's trying to make a scam acting like someone is imposting me but.. to me just seems like ban evasion cuz his discords the same and the real one. Will provide more proof if needed so admins please review this.

is it not possible he's the one trying to do the middleman scam? is there no way to prove it?

 

There's no way in proving @Gladiator was the one impersonating himself and trying to grab some quick bucks. Gladiator has written a perfect PM to confirm he was not talking to you, so there's nothing we can do here.

 

That sucks because its a scam where you cant prove if the scammer was gladiator or not. Because if it was a middleman scam, the scammer wouldve added me on discord to communicate with me also. Which is why i asked for a pm before i posted on his thread.. so if it wasn't him trying to grab some quick bucks idk who else would try to scam, cuz i only talked to the real gladiator and no one else.

Seems like you added the wrong Gladiator or you were sent a request on Discord by an impostor.

I only spoke to supah#2402, your discord isn't even that, your discord is supah#7913 if you zoom into your first imgur picture.

So like Wortel said, the impostor made another discord account to impersonate you, linked your sythe profile to get me to send you a PM on sythe, but as you can clearly see from the sythe pm, I was having a conversation with the impostor and not you.

Not sure why you're confused as to how these scams work.

 

As you can see the one you were talking with has the Discord Nitro sign. In this case you can use basically any name + ID combination you wish aslong as your Discord Nitro subscription runs. I'm fairly sure there's one letter difference though, can you thoroughly check this:



The sign on the bottom means he has Discord Nitro, which I'm fairly sure Gladiator himself doesn't have. I'm also fairly sure the letter behind the "G" is an uppercase "i" instead of a lowercase "L".

 

@Wortel of i did not know of the nitro sign at all.. i guess it was indeed an imposter then.

@Gladiator sorry for framing you, i just dislike scammers and wanted to get rid of them on the forums so other people dont get scammed. My mistake =(

The whole Discord Nitro is a mess we're running into now and we'll be sure to get a sticky in place for that asap so it'll be explained a little bit more into detail. This is why I don't do any business via Discord because it's a complete mess.

Closing this now. @Gladiator One thing that might help, not sure, is get people to PM you first and reply to them after. I do that in all trades I'm involving myself in and I believe it does help a bit.
