Were you close to any natural disasters?

So i was wondering if you have been close to any natural disasters?

The closest I've ever been to one was in 2004 on the boxing Tsunami although i was at the other side of the country when it took place it was still rather close. My dad wanted to go were it took place and my mother wanted to go Tunisia so with it being my mums decision we ended up in Tunisia for Christmas in 2004 and as it was happening on boxing day i was playing on a stage in front of the news. Flights were cancelled. This is the closest I've been although i was a little kid. Have you been close or been in one?

I had a tornado rip my hometown apart when I was a kid, they rebuilt pretty much everything. We had new parks and schools and everything all over.

 

Living in Canada and thank god nothing too serious has happened here.

 

That was alot of aftermath there. i'd say thats my favourite part about not living in the states and new Zealand is we dodge alot of earthquakes and tornado's

 

I'm fairly close to where the boston boming and 9/11 took place, apparently I was at a dentist appointment in boston when 9/11 took place and everyonce was panicking but I don't remember a thing as I was only like 3 years old.

 

I used to live in taiwan so i was in a couple hurricanes but thankfully the Taiwanese (at least in the capital) are prepared

I even was outside in a weaker one wasnt that bad at all

 

I got real lucky this past fall. I live in Houston but I was at AIT during hurricane Harvey. By the time I got back, all the water was gone as well.

 

Went through Hurricane Sandy. Didn’t help that I lived by a pier so essentially the 1st floor of my home was flooded to the ceiling.

Yeah my uncle lives out in NZ i'm guessing that is were you are from with your Name. It's amazing how many earthquakes happen over there

I live in an area with terrible earthquakes.

 

Yeah I was in Thailand scuba diving at the time of the 2004 tsunami. On Phi Phi island to be exact and we were hit pretty bad. Took shelter at the top of the 3 story hotel and watched a lot of people get washed away.
