Disconnected by VAC: You cannot play on secure servers

This is one error I keep getting on CSGO. I have tried all of those possible solutions though none seem to fix it. At the time of this happening I had both ShadowPlay and Discord overlay enabled which I have both disabled now.

So to sum up, I have tried:
- Restarting my PC
- Repairing the Steam Service
- Restoring boot settings to default
- Repairing the system files

I have also disabled all programs I believe could've interfered, programs that were still active were:
- Discord
- Skype
- ShareX
- Possibly also KeePass

Anyone ever had this issue and managed to fix it?

 

You're not OW banned in any possible way? Also, try verifying the game cache itself.

Overwatch, we can assume you weren't cheating/injecting anything into the client? Can you think of any program that might inject itself into the csgo client or mess with it at all?

 

No, otherwise this thread would've been extremely stupid to make because in that case the kick reason would be obvious. I have disabled Discord overlay as per suggestion by @Void. Any other suggestions?

 

Absolute if no one can think of much else, you can reinstall windows which might also clean up any manufacturer bloat-wear if not custom built

 

This Windows installation is quite new though, I had gotten a new PC in late 2017.

 

I'm just thinking, is it a brand like HP, acer, etc? Or custom build? Manufacturer bloat-ware might be a cause, i'd say maybe update all drivers is another option?

 

All updates are installed and I am fairly sure it has nothing to do with my computer as otherwise I'd have the same issue with other games.

 

Driver isn't hardware, and i'm not sure what else you play so the bloatware suggestion might only effect cs:go anti-cheat, have you tried a fresh install of csgo (not repairing), and/or steam reinstall? or running csgo as an administrator?

It also couldn't hurt to defrag the hdd if it's not an ssd, and run ccleaner + registry fix on ccleaner (free)

Maybe does your keyboard/mouse have a macro csgo doesn't like you accidentally hit?

I've only ever gotten the no-login steam kick. Maybe it's the windows firewall blocking access for VAC.

 

Got any VAC bans on your account outside of csgo?

Follow these steps.


Open CMD As ADMIN

Paste this whole load of crap in there:

- bcdedit /deletevalue nointegritychecks
- bcdedit /deletevalue loadoptions 
- bcdedit /debug off 
- bcdedit /deletevalue nx 

and restart your pc, should fix.

Haven't played CSGO lately so can't really say. Why is that? Do you know the solution?
