New Icons

We should replace some of the current icons and get some new, clean and good looking icons.

Example of some to replace:

 

Not needed, and the current ones are good imo.. They're not that old.

 

Ehhh... from an aesthetic point of view, a lot of them are ugly imo.

If you're going to suggest something like this then you should have icons ready to replace the current ones with.

Why is my Sythe.Org News icon grey and yours is blue?

 

I support the news one being changed while the first two stay the same. Those are redirect icons so no reason to change.

 

People still use that theme?

 

If you read all of the topics/threads your icon goes gray. I think.

 

The other one doesn't suit Sythe imo. I will post some icons later today .

You can close this... for now. I was going to make a preview page of the homepage with new icons... etc. but I just don't have the time for it right now. If/when I make it I can PM you to open this again I guess.

I just think the website overall needs some sort of aesthetic overhaul, even if it's just small things like this. It will make a massive difference without impacting the classic feel of Sythe. Right now the forum just looks outdated.

 

Closed, also fairly sure they were already changed once last year.
