Everyone ask's How To Make A Runescape Client. Even I Asked That Question. Well now I Know And Want Everyone To Know So Here Is A Guide For People Who Want To Make A SIMPLE Client. The Main Question People Ask Is How To Get It To Work. Well Here You Go.

Make A Runescape Client.
The Easy Way.


Name Your Form ( frmMain )

Make The Form Full Screen And Then Go To Project At The Top Of The Screen Then Components.
Make Sure Microsoft Internet Controls Is Checked. Click ( OK )
In The Tool Box click and create web browser. This Is Where The Internet Will Be Displayed.
Make It Big. ( I'd Do Just about the whole sceen besides leave a little area at the bottom for controls.)
You Can Leave The Area On The Side,Top,anywhere you want.
In That area you left put in a Frame Make It Wide And Short.
Add A text Box In The Frame.
Add 3 Buttons in the Frame.
Make Command1 say ( Go )
Make Text1's Text www.runescape.com
Make Command2's Caption ( <- ) Command 3's ( -> )
Name The Web Browser You Added ( wWeb )
Make Command 2 and 3 enabled = false
Ok Now Onto The Coding... For Command1-(Go) Button Put This Code.

Code:

wWeb.Navigate (Text1.Text)
Command2.Enabled = True 

For Command 2- ( <- ) Button Put This Code...

Code:

wWeb.GoBack
Command3.Enabled = True

For Command 3- ( -> ) Button Put This Code...

Code:

wWeb.GoForward

Now You Got A Semi Client So Far.

TO Make It full Screen About All The Time. When It Is Smaller screen
In The Height And Width boxes put these numbers.
Height- ( 11520 )
Width- ( 15360 )
Now You Can add As Much Stuff As You Want.

This is bogus. Full clients are extremely simple, and are actually useful for things unlike this one which as someone said (too lazy to quote ) isn't exactly programming. You're really only giving values to control properties :|

This is a client it, it is a small base for a webbrowser, and even based off your code you provide almost nothing that can't be learned in about a minute and a half.

 

I'm sorry, but fail.

You see, even if you copy and paste ONE line of code in to a text field, that is technically programming.

 

Good job, for your next tutorial you should show everyone how to refresh the web browser and stop the web browser from navigating. I rate this 11/10.
