99 Slayer

This was one of the main longterm goals I had for my account, and I finally got it. The last few levels went by really fast once I started barraging tasks in the Catacombs, think I was averaging upwards of 60k xp/hr. Made ~150M total from 99, no clue on how much I spent on supplies though.



Not sure where I'll go from here. I was originally thinking about maxing out but it's kind of depressing seeing that even at nearly 2100 total I'm not even halfway to maxing (EHP-wise). Will probably be taking a break from RS for now.

Same with me basically have a 2100 Total Med Account and I just CBA.

I have a 1800 Total Voider which has 88 Runecrafting too -.-

Goal oriented is the goal, I know the feeling you’re talking about when you say you’re not sure what’s next.
Best thing to do is set a goal and stick to it.
One 99 at a time.
Haven’t accomplished slayer myself, look forward to tackling that one though!

Congratz on the goal being achieved! I personally have a med i'm going for 99 on myself currently 90/99! My question is did you get anything from your superiors while doing this? Gem or heart? or a pet ?

 

Congratulations! I definitely want to get into the Slayer grind myself. Nearly 2k total with 76 Slayer, haha.

 

And then you have people like me who get all their stats 90+ but cant fucking touch a 99

Haha yeah I always thought it was important for an RS mod to at least be playing the game actively. I'm feeling pretty unmotivated to keep playing on this account at the moment though, might mess around with a new one for a bit

At level 93 with the right block list, the xp/hr goes way up, I was surprised by how fast the levels went. My next skill will probably be Thieving as that's the last one I need to get up for the Desert Elite diary. I've been using the reward lamps on RC so I can train it as little as possible, just need to get to 77 for afk

Good luck to you, I did manage to get one gem from a superior which was pretty cool. I unlocked superiors pretty late though, probably at around 95 Slayer.

I don't like to leave skills unfinished so I tend to just grind out 99s, but I would much rather have all stats at 90+

 

Don't worry I got 99 Slayer without Barrows Gloves or even doing the Quest Dragon Slayer. No joke/meme.

I just didn't do any quests at all. Maybe had like 14 Qps when I got 99 Slayer back in 2015.

I literally made the account just for Slayer. Had the money from 99 RC for BiS gear everywhere else besides barrows gloves. So I just said fuggit and used a combat bracelet all the way to 99.

I did get a Fire Cape at least.

 

Congratulations man! I love Slayer, definitely is the one the best skills in the game and best looking cape.
