    Is it possible to make an IRC server out of visual basic?
    I know you can make a single client and server connect to each other, so can u take it abit further and make an IRC server for multiple people to connect to and OP people etc



    If u dont understand just say and il try explain better

    Of course you can. I don't know why you'd want to though, considering it will never be as good as UnrealIRCD or anything similar ;)

    If you want to program servers, I suggest a language such as C or C++.

    Is it possible to make an IRC server out of visual basic?
    That was only a client (and a dodgy one at that), this guy wants to make an actual server. Very possible but also very pointless.
