Recently one guy got scammed for roughly 150M, I tried to help him abit with trying to figure out where the gold was sold
I started with Probemasgold since scammer who stolen the 150M is from Lithuania, the same country as Probemas.com so it was first place to look at.

Not sure if rule is still in force, but knowingly buying stolen goods was permament ban offence on Sythe.org

I tried to figure out if the stolen gold was sold on www.probemasgold.com unfortunately, the livechat attitude made me think they are ATLEAST trying to hide the suspect which kills the opportunity to arrange counter-scam if scammer got paid in any chargeback-able payment method



I didn't ask them for any personal privacy leaking information, wanted simple answer yes/no so I knew who to contact to arrange counterscam or keep looking in other places.


This is screenshot from arcusgold for example, where customer support was helpeful and they did research for me if any transactions with that user took place. That's very professional kudos for them

What exactly are you reporting here though @Zuzel111, companies arent required to provide (sensitive) information of their customers (unless requested by staff) and to be honest I'd give Probemas kudo's for not providing a random visitor information regarding one of their customers.

 

I was asking about one specific user who is suspected of scamming and selling stolen goods, if company was any serious they would try to help victims being refunded if they were supplied by evidence, all I asked for is if he sold, if I'd hear "yes" I'd go ahead and supply them enough evidence to arrange counter scam in their next trade or ask for chargeback of payment since it was for stolen goods ( and of cours reimburse victim ), rule applied to knowingly buying stolen goods, they were acknowledged with the fact this customer sells stolen property, that's more than enough to pay extra attention to that visitor in the future and if it was returning "customer" to add note to his zopim profile about the case where he scammed.

 

Answering yes/no is not leaking any personal information btw.

 

I understand the point you're trying to make but again any business is not required to provide a random third party with any information regarding one of their customers (even if its just a yes/no question) and on top of that are not obligated to perform a counterscam.
That being said if you have proof of Probemas knowingly buying/selling stolen goods then that's a different story where we would require them to provide chat logs and what not

 

Even if they were buying stolen gold you wouldn't be able to prove them that since they wouldn't admit or provide you anything that could prove that, talking to 8th livechat support right now in RSGP market, everyone did research for me and checked if any transactions were made with that user, except probemas staff who didn't even bother to do any verification, as I said Im not asking them to give me their customers details, I just want to figure out place where gold was sold and I want to arrange the counter-scam with place where he sells the gold. Zopim doesn't allow to look for chats by IPs, you have to go through chat history and check if any recent conversation was with that IP, case is VERY fresh (2-3 hours maximum) so none of them should have extremely big amounts of chat to browse to check this for me.

 

Alright, I appreciate your effort in seeking justice for scam victims but the fact remains where probemas is permitted to keep any and all information to themselves as long as there is no concrete evidence against them.
