    It should be noted that table salt (the cheap white stuff you buy in the super market) contains fine grains of glass and aluminium silicate. These when ingested will cause inflammation in your arteries.

    You should only eat salt that is completely natural and does not contain anti-caking agents. Pink salt or coarse sea salt are usually good. Check the ingredients for E55X numbers, these are all bad.

    Even the study you posted concludes that high and low salt intake is bad for your health. Physicians do not encourage salt intake because most diets, esp in America, already have too much salt.

    Also the reason that saline is given IV is to maintain osmotic pressure in your body. Taking in too much salt can also fuck up osmotic pressure
