Very unique coin with an interesting goal behind it:


"While the big names in the crypto currency market stole the spotlight, a lesser known crypto token gained 512% in a single week. That was Tronix (TRX), the token of the TRON network, which is constructing a worldwide free content entertainment system on the block chain. TRON’s protocol facilitates users to freely store, own, and publish data.

That means a user will not only own the content rights, but also decide the price and time of sale. While the concept looks revolutionary, only time can tell whether the rally from $0.003916 to $0.02 is a real breakout or a pump and dump operation.

The visionary behind the project is Justin Sun, who worked as chief representative of Ripple in Greater China. He assisted Ripple, which rallied to $0.87 this week, to raise $30 million as seed finance. The project was backed by Tang Binsen (Clash of Kings founder), Dai Wei (CEO of OFO bike), Chaoyong Wang (China Equity Group), Ying Mingshan (LiFan group), Yang Linke (BTCC founder), Huobi.com, Jubi.com, and Xue Manzi (angel investor), among others.

TRON is a block chain technology based digital entertainment network. TRON facilitates payment, storage, development and credit sharing, while enhancing all kinds of digital contents such as live shows, online casinos, social networks, and games.

The TRON’s protocol enables content providers to interact with ordinary users, without a need to pay a high price for distributing platforms such as Apple Store, Google Play, etc. The platform provided for the entertainment market can be used to store and share user information. Thus, information barriers between apps will be broken by the platform.

Further, developers can reduce costs, target audience effectively, and prevent data theft. The value of the total digital entertainment market is estimated to be about $1 trillion, including divisions such as lifestyle ($200 billion), gaming ($100 billion), betting ($500 billion), and information sharing ($100 billion)."


Coin is currently sitting at 3 cents. Was 2 cents yesterday, and less than a penny 3 days ago. There are huge announcements coming soon (29th of Dec) and 2018 is gonna be a huge year for TRX. I got in at $0.015.

Other interesting points to note:

• Founder is the prodigy of Jack Ma (Alibaba founder)
• Coin has not been released far outside China
• Not yet on a majority of exchanges

I see potential for profit here. Let's hope I'm right.

I mentioned this to @video after seeing an article from Forbes which was posted 2 days ago. I'm not sure why it took a few days to show up on my phone.

It was around $0.27 at the time I mentioned it to him (1.5 hours ago). I posted it in the crypto channel as well.

Consider the time schedule of announcements though. A big announcement is coming in 2 weeks from yesterday, which is 4 days after Christmas and 3 before the New Year. I suspect TRX will complete its ICO for more renowned exchanges within this time frame, which would only mean one thing:

 

What exchange do you all use to buy this?

 

I think with the upcoming news the coin will go up. I will invest right now and we should hopefully see this coin spike. Now to figure out what exchange to use..

In order to purchase TRX, one may consider using exchanges such as Binance (support for US and other customers) or Coinnest (Korean exchange). I will cover the process on how to add funds to Binance.

Firstly, you'll need to create an account. If you want, I have a referral link in my signature, or you can use the link above instead. Once your account has been created, confirm your email by clicking on the link sent by Binance.

After logging in, you might see a withdrawal limit on your account. Don't be alarmed though, as this only pertains to daily withdrawals, which requires going through the verification process in order to increase. Your deposit limit, however, is unlimited, which means you can transfer cryptocurrencies over from other exchanges. This can be located by hover over "Funds" in the legend on the top-right.



Once you have deposited your cryptocurrency, you'll want to visit the exchange. This can be found opposite the side where "Funds" was located. When hovering over "Exchange", you'll be presented with two options: Basic or Advanced. I recommend using the "Advanced" option, however, as it will be much more familiar to you as it's similar to other exchange's user interface design.



Now that you've reached the exchange, you're ready to purchase TRX. If you have any cryptocurrency other than BTC, you will need to convert to BTC due to the TRX/BTC pair. Check on the upper-right, where it will display the current pairing you have. Use the drop-down to select (you can search) the cryptocurrency you deposited in order to transfer it over the BTC. Once that's been completed, you can switch over the the TRX/BTC pair and make your purchase.



I hope this guide helped. I suspect with the upcoming news on Dec 29th, TRON (TRX) will be available on some of the more renowned exchanges. I suggest you to keep a look out or do your own research before making cryptocurrency investments.
