Really only considered setting a few up because of the possibility of them having serious value.
Gotta look into it more, probably check it out while I’m skilling on RS.

helped @Astro set some stuff up. I feel like its more of a game to get more 'new' users in depth with Cryptos and how they work.

Do I play it? recently, the gas prices to trade ETH are fucking insane, so I took a break from it. I did make a few hundred off it, including the fees. There definitely profit potential, as new users are jumping on everyday and it requires you to buy into it by purchasing your first cats.

I do think as it dies down a little, its going to get a lot better. They basically specified that theyre releasing only so many GEN 0 cats, and from there, that's how the market will run.

Is there a future? probably for the core group of hefty players. Is there a future for me? ehhhh, if I made 300 so far, I mean I guess I can dabble in it time to time. It has the Tamagotchi nostalgia feelings so im content right now.

I think it shows some optimism because someone finally made something relevantish on the ETH platform..

However... This only proves that ETH has terrible scaling issues. I can't wait to see the gas prices when there are copy cats like cryptodogs, cryptoclans, etc, etc.

I don't see ETH team solving the increasing scaling issues anytime soon, much less with trying to push back against more and more development of games, apps, tokens, etc, especially how most are niche to say the least...

    I loved tamagotchi lol
It does feel that way, but with a much higher barrier of entry. I mean some cats are like $400

What are your thoughts about my last reply about copy cats and scaling? Not huge on ETH

I don't think copycats would touch base with Cryptokitties. Cryptokitties is the OG, as least for the ETH network. If there was a copycat in antoher altcoin or even btc, I can see a threat/competition.

I don't really have an opinion on scaling. I think any network with millions of new users within a couple days is going to have issues. Im just super pumped to see that the fees (even though things are outrageous right now) are still low as shit, even with it clogged.
