    Blockchain wallet fee ridiculously high?
    i have like 25$ on a wallet on my phone I forgot about. Went to go move it this morning and the fee is 9$. Are fees just high right now? I don't remember it being this high when I last used this wallet, and it was not long ago

    Yes in fact Ripple invented the Interledger protocol which is currently becoming a w3c standard for doing trustless atomic swaps between any two ledgers that support cryptographic escrow. https://interledger.org/interledger.pdf

    LTC was never needed. The world does not need another BTC clone. BTC is a broken algorithm and a failed experiment. When fees hit about $100 per transfer people will finally realize that and stop using it.

    I still think BTC is early in development and there are some good scaling factors and it does offer better security than most coins.

    Well first off I was actually just asking a question. I don't think I deserved a sarcastic response like that.

    But I have a few more

    1. Why should I not be concerned about the large amount of XRP ripple holds, which can easily be used to control the price of XRP and crash the price of they wanted.

    2. Why should I choose to use a "currency" if it has to go towards a third party, also refer to question 1.

    3. Why would any developers be interested in a platform that is not open to everyone. Anyone can run a bitcoin node or edit code and create a clone of Bitcoin. Ripples barrier to entry for development and testing seems to be only with big banks (correct me if I am wrong, you are the ripple expert, not me.)

    4. How will the scaling look if XRP had as many transactions/ day as BTC.

    5. What about freezing?

    6. Is XRP as secure as BTC?

    I am not asking these questions as an investor, I am asking because i would like to know more on these topics I listed but the internet is a shitty place sometimes and I get both sides of the coin and who knows if the side is correct or not.

    It's almost like you have done exactly zero research and watched two minutes of a video of someone who knows nothing bashing ripple.

    1. Escrow
    2. Bitcoin and ethereum also "go toward" third parties. They are called miners.
    3. Ripple is open source
    4. Ripple already does more transactions a day than bitcoin and ethereum combined
    5. You cannot freeze ripple accounts
    6. It is more secure than BTC

    Do you not just think the governments instead of regulating BTC would find it much more convenient to introduce their own digital currency? It's inevitable with everything being online nowadays that paper money won't be a convenient currency, especially for the youth generation growing up, a government funded type of currency would kill off BTC

    What's your fattest investment in at the minute? I think I missed out on the big buck investments with Bitcoin, ETH, Litecoin etc, but there could be some underground big return investments that haven't been found yet, would love to see something unknown pop up that's sitting at around 5-50 atm.

    I've never seen ripple go above .35, do you think that will ever change? If it ever went to 2-3 heck even 10 (after BTC anything is possible imm) that'd be insane
