    PlayerAuctions Issues Resolution Thread

    I bought two orders of 400k, wow gold from a top rated seller on PlayerAuctions.

    The Seller uses third parties to deliver gold. The seller didn't deliver on time, but marked the order as delivered. The seller got me flagged with wow by talking in game about my order and how much i purchased and so on.
    I asked to cancel the order, but the seller refused.
    I opened a dispute. I lose the dispute because I must provide screenshots that the trade did not happened. Playerauctions refuses to read messages between the seller and I. The Seller admits the gold was not delivered and refuses to cancel order.

    PlayerAuctions refuses to refund me and suspends my account for opening a dispute with paypal.

    Playerauctions then claims physical delivery occurred but doesn't provide any evidence or tracking and i lose my second dispute with paypal.

    Playerauctions are just a bunch of big time scammer.

    Hello there, @da1bomb15.

    Sorry if you think this way; reading what happened with your experience I can understand that it has been stressful and incredibly inconvenient for you. Unfortunately, once sellers claim they have delivered, evidences should be sent and if there was an incriminating piece in your message log using the on-site messenger at PA, then you could have sent that as well.

    The suspension due to the dispute/chargeback is as per policy, and we're very sorry.

    If you'd like me to look into the messages, feel free to post here or PM me the order ID so I can check what went wrong. It may not be any help at all given your current situation, but at least I can offer you some explanation on what went wrong. Let me know how I can help at this point.

    Dispute 1096 for Order 3311653

    okay, well so many things was screwed up with this order it gets pretty complex.

    1st. there are two identical orders of 400k gold, bought for the same amount within a hour of each other from the same seller.
    2nd. The seller marked the order delivered prior to even meeting ingame for delivery of the first order.
    3rd. The seller attempted to scam me on delivery of the first order by only trading me a portion of the 400k.
    4th. I never received the remaining amount of the first order because the seller was talking ingame and got me flagged with blizzard
    5th. I asked the seller to cancel my second order due to the issues I had with my first order.
    6th. The seller refused to cancel my second order (assume it's since he marked it delivered since he was late on delivery.)
    7th. The seller offers to buy an auction item to complete the trade. ( I decline and again ask to cancel order)
    8th. The seller claims to have delivered the items at 8:47pm and using fake accounts to create screenshots:
    9th. I state these issues in my dispute and clearly point out the seller is lying.
    10th You(playerauctions) require that I submit screenshot proof that the trade did not happen.

    No , I can not give you screenshots of something that did not happen. But I did state the clear discrepancies of the sellers lies , messages and the fake screenshots. Here tell me if you can find the differences in this pictures. Note the times of the messages , the delivery times and the types of characters, race, spelling of name, class and a dwarf priest and a night elf druid.

    Hi again, @da1bomb15, thanks for taking the time to fully explain what happened, and I apologize for replying just now.

    I don't wanna BS you and consult a work colleague to work out the answer for me with regards to the 2 screenshots you shared, but to be honest with you I'm not very versed in identifying fake screenshots because that is being handled by our support team. However, I'd like to address some of the points you mentioned.

    If you seller did indeed confirm from his end that he delivered without doing it yet, that is very unprofessional and discourteous of him. You should have been able to cancel the 2nd order if you're still working on the first one. And as for proving back to us that a transaction never happened, that is why I mentioned evidences, not screenshots as it is pointless to hand us over a screenshot that's empty or not showing anything --- for the seller not being able to deliver, so I totally get your point.

    As for you seller talking in-game, specially if it was done publicly (not PM/DM), you could also take a screenshot of that and submit it to our team for deliberation, and your angle in this is that the seller is trying to endanger your status as a buyer/player.

    I was checking your log and I'm not sure if I got it right; there was a cancellation notice on your chargeback. Did you, by any chance, reversed it before the refund from their end failed? If so, you may email [email protected] about it and there might be a chance to reinstate your account back. I understand it's not going to solve the loss you incurred on these two orders but at least in that part I might be able to help you out.

    Let me get this straight.. Regardless If I prove that the seller did NOT Deliver, you (playerauctions) will not refund nor will you force the seller to deliver my order for the payment the seller received? You will give the $36.20 to the seller and you may at your discretion un-suspend my account with playerauctions due to the seller not delivering the order? Is that the only option you may choose to do? That is being the only other option, is the current situation where you keep my $36.20 and you suspend my account indefinitely for disputing your companies injustices? Correct?

    or would this be considered a scam/fraud/criminal complicity or false advertising?

    Order 3311653 has already been closed by the final resolution committee, and as per my team's findings, you weren't able to prove that the seller did NOT deliver.

    Your unsuspension hinges on your chargeback case, whether if you could either cancel it from the payment option's end or if the case was unsuccessful. I offered the account unsuspension only in case you'd like to get back to using our services (not on the merit that the seller won the case), and if not, you are absolutely free to pursue the chargeback case on your payment option --- however, the compromise is that your account remains suspended.

    I'm just wondering how can you prove a seller has not delivered? shouldn't the seller be the one having to proof the delivery? Can you prove i didn't pay you 10k$ in cash right now?

    I did prove that the seller never delivered by pointing out the seller admitting to not delivering it in playauctions messages and I also proved that the screen shots the sellers provided are modified and not my character.

    Hey there i sold some gold and had to wait 2 days for disbursement because I'm not a regular known seller. However the payment was sent and then cancelled 13 minutes later. Any reason as to why?

    I have raised a few tickets on the support page but keep getting the same response which isnt helping. I created an account today to make a purchase, and my order is stuck in 'verifying payment' but i haven't received any email or phone call etc to verify... Been about 3 hours now.

    It varies by case, but you may send screenshots of conversations done using the messenger function at PlayerAuctions, just like da1bomb15 did, although it won't be conclusive and it will have to be pieced together with other evidences to create a case. With regards to the said case, it has been resolved.

My colleague already queued back the payment since yesterday, but usually for the payment to make it through, it has to lapse for 12+ more hours since the next payment will be made the following business day.
