Bitcoin Cash (BCH) IS skyrocketing

The price is even lower than when I posted last and still lower than when the fork happened and I immediately dumped?.... Do you not understand how numbers work?

 

If you took real cash (or something else) and not bitcoin (and did not keep it), then the price in bitcoin does not matter.
BCH at the day of the fork was 200usd, now it is 1700USD and rising.

That's my point.

 

the technology behind BCH is actually trash. I firmly believe that the price of BCH is due to a few factors..

1. Bitcoin in its name
2. Bitcoin holder got an airdrop, and thus will not sell it cheaply and will support the coin solely because they hold it
3. Korean and east asian market pumped it because a few big BTC names backed it at the forl
4. We live in a time where prices are based off of feelings, not facts. BCH barley has any transactions, at least for real adoption. BCH is just another shitcoin that is far over priced. BCH is not that secure and once people realize that they can just use Dasd, Decred, Zcach, Litecoin, Monero, BCH will be pointless. Once BTC takes a hard dip, BCH will follow suit. BCH has done nothing but hurt crypto in my eyes

 

My point is not only is 1 BCH worth less than 1 BTC, it's worth even less than when the fork occurred. You are running victory laps acting like you are making money when you haven't even broken even with the people like me who dumped on your ass immediately.

 

That's the only comeback you can come up with? Cash is king. I already trippled the initial investment in just three months.

 

@WeRnIS is a little slow, let him be happy. It appears he can only compare on a coin/cash level, which he did great at. Dumping bitcoin trash at .2 BTC was a great move and I can't understand how he doesn't see it. Even if BHC passes 0.2 BTC in the future, you have won because you can buy more BHC at a lower BTC price.

Any coin can increase dramatically in a quick period of time. With no research I found a more profitable coin, Cardano.

 

Yeah, I think the fact that you sold the wrong coin of the two created by the fork and lost money, and I sold the right one and made a profit is a pretty good comeback. I think I'll stick with it.

@Xier0 Could double his Bitcoin C(r)ash position at no extra cost cost if he wanted. He sold it at .2 BTC and now its .1 BTC.

 

Exactly. When a fork occurs, you can either:

A. Keep BTC, Sell BCH
B. Keep BCH, Sell BTC
C. Keep both forked coins

If you had 1 BTC before the fork on August 1st, you would now have

A. 1.2 BTC ($15,720)
B. 6 BCH ($8,100)
C. 1 BTC, 1 BCH ($14,450)

I did A, and Wernis apparently did B.

With Lightning Network proven to work on the main BTC network, another reason for Bcash's existence is gone.

There were also two more Bitcoin hard forks that Bitcoin owners were able to benefit from: Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Diamond.
At $16000/BTC, $1350/BCH, $260/BTG, and $500/10 BTD (Each BTC = 10 BTD on the Bitcoin Diamond fork):

A. Convert all coins to BTC ASAP
About 1.25 BTC = $20000
It's possible to have gotten as much as 1.35 BTC if one sold at the right time.

B. Keep BCH, sell BTC
About 6 BCH = $8100

C. Keep all forks
= $18110
