    Sythe.org Support sub-section

Hey just a small suggestion I'd like to propose:
In this section add a sub-section called something like "Resolved issues" (questions or whatever we could call it) and move all solved threads into there. When I look at the section now it's quite a mess with all the locked threads and before you're going to tell me we should not look those threads; not doing so will only cause spam because we're already providing users with very quick responses which usually solve their issues immediately.

I'll be tagging those users who I believe use the Support section the most so far so they can share their opinion regarding this.

I'm gonna go ahead and support this idea.

I see you only mentionned the Sythe.org Support section but I think it would be good to also add a sub-section to the other sections aswell (Personal Support, Help & Requests and Guides or simply make a general resolved issues section for the four sections together.

It often happens that newcomers post in these sections and their issues end up being resolved within a few minutes. There are a lot of locked threads in these sections and archiving them just like the RAS section would clean up the sections and would simply look better because right now, we're just looking at walls of locked threads.

    This would be really nice!
I will support a quality suggestion, as I have a huge OCD problem with jacked up sections. im always moving around things that are not supposed to be there, locking, etc. would be a great feature to have.

Thanks for tagging me @Wortel. I, indeed, am one of the main contributors in the Support section on this forum. Honestly any forum member that cares about the forum as much as I do would be willing to spend a similair amount of time helping other people out wherever and whenever they need it.

Now to get to the subject. Making an archive kind of thing is nice and all but it doesnt solve the real problem; noobs asking a question that has been asked a thousand times. There was a suggestion to make a pop-up screen before making a thread in the Report a scammer subforum, I think something similair would be good for the Support section. So support, but it doesnt solve the real problem.

    Not necessary.

Sythe.org support is supposed to be routinely archived by nature to the site archives.
Update the FAQ by all means, but no need to complicate forum structure further. If people can't read an FAQ, they're not going to look in a sub-forum either.

On another note: what I used to do briefly as a support moderator was have a notepad of all the common questions and a link to a thread I'd answered of the same query. Then when you come across the same question you simply CTRL+F, for example, "donor" and all the donor questions and links would appear, for which you select the appropriate link and reply + lock. This means you can write out a long, helpful response just once and refer to it thereafter.

It won't complicate the use of the site. There will be no difference for those seeking for help because they will not bother searching for the answer, but ask for it instead. However for the regular user who checks the Sythe Support section regularly it is something that I believe to be useful; as it'll be easier to the eyes and will look cleaner. There are similiar sections who do have this.

Suggestions has the Approved and Denied suggestions.
Middleman Applications has Accepted and Denied applications.

It's a simple way to put some more structure to the forum. It does not make it worse, in my belief.

For that only reason, Sythe Support is meant to be archived periodically to the normal site archives

Typically, most users just ask instead of try to figure it out themselves. So no need, just archive to the regular site archives as Roary has mentioned, and just let them ask away.

I don't like this idea at all besides the point roary has come up with I like to think some user's go through old questions to find the answer to their issue and moving these issue's could cos a slight bit of confusion when trying to find the solution.
