League account banned 2-3 days after purchase

I purchased a league account from @RooterAccounts on Friday 17th November. I played a few games on it and today when I tried to log into the account, I received this:

Proof it was the account he sold me(on skype):

The account was permanently banned. I messaged @RooterAccounts as to why that might be and his response was:

So the account was banned because it logged in from a different IP? Seems extremely weird. Either way it was completely out of my control and I didn't even own the account for 3 days. Everyone who sells league accounts have some kind of refund policy (14 days, 30 days, etc) so I asked @RooterAccounts accounts if he could refund me for the account. I even told him I would happily take another account worth the same value if he couldn't refund me the money(since he's selling other accounts) to which he said no, he wasn't interested in offering any kind of refund because "his thread didn't say so".

I don't feel like anyone should be allowed to sell accounts that can be banned instantly after purchase and if they're going to, then at least refund the people who are buying them since it's out of their control.

 

Account was banned due to "Irregular activity" according to the e-mail you showed me. As far as I know that just happens because somehow logging in from a different IP triggered a ban. That's just a risk you take when buying an account. I have no refund policy and as far as I know there are no rules on Sythe regarding such policies.

No where on your thread or in your conversations did you make any of the risks apparent. If your thread had said "there is no refund policy on any of my accounts" or "any of the accounts I sell can be banned at any time" (because who knows how you obtained them), I wouldn't have any issues here because I would never have bought an account from you in the first place (no one in their right mind would).

 

Sythe does have rules regarding refunds and they overrule your tos if you "lose" this case. In my opinion if someone gives you money for a product the product should be good and worth the money. if not, i think it is the sellers responsibility to make sure to replace or give a refund so that the customer is satisfied. As a seller i would try to make sure all my customers are happy with my products but that's just me.

Sorry mod's i won't reply to this thread after this. Just wanted to point something out regarding the rules.

 

That's redudant... This applies to any account you buy regardless of whether it's included in the post or not. My point is just if Sythe doesn't have rules regarding refunds then I don't have to refund.
