However your doing notifications is not working, getting notifications consistently for the past 3-5 weeks somewhere between 6- 12 hours after the post.

This is useless, the point of notifications is so your notified when something has happened not 12 hours later.

As you can see the notification says 40 minutes ago on the above thread yet the post happended near 3-4 hours ago.

It's like that constantly everyday and its been even longer periods aswell. It's normally longer than that just chose a random example but its clearly delayed.

5 minutes? Sure, probably haven't bought yet.
10 minutes? okay they've probably bought by now.
4 Hours+? They' probably bought gold, ate dinner, moved to dessert, visited their grandma, played COD and are passed out on the fucking couch by this point.

 

I never get mentioned and I don't watch threads so I don't know.

The new thread alerts are whats late non stop yes.

 

This happens to me as well. I watch 07 account sales, RSPS Gold sales, Overwatch account sales, and league section. I get the notifications late same as @Divine and they would come in a batch of 2-3 even if they were posted at different times.

 

Previously a few weeks ago/month ago in this thread everyone was having delayed alerts and u said some node or something had gone offline, it temporarily fixed my alerts and they became instant again.(I cant really remember if u said a node or w/e sorry just guessing)

However since I never got a response since Sep 2nd from you:

I'd say considering its been happening for 2 1/2 months I'd say its consistently delayed.

And NO it is not because of gold threads having to be approved - RSPS ones(which don't have to be approved) are delayed aswell as u saw from my above post.

I have watched this thread to test it for you, I don't watch threads as I'm more interested in watching the sections and new threads within them.

However I shall let you know after I get some information on whether watching threads vs forums is delayed aswell.

Watching forums is definitely delayed though and has been for a multiple month long period.

 

It would happen every couple weeks. Is it possible that the "watch forum" feature has a request limit and since I watch multiple sub forums I reach it?

 

Watch thread or whatever when u quoted me the notification showed immediately and is perfectly in sync with the sythe clock(it lines up, notification 39 mins ago, post was 39 mins ago).

I assume since I got the notification instantly when u quoted me that's the watch thread, Honestly I've never watched a thread so idk what it really does but I did get some sort of notification when u quoted me and it was right on time.

Seems to be an issue within watch forum apparently.

 

Is Arcus' banner supposed to be so small in width or? Looks pretty ugly.

I made a post about this earlier in the year, probably like Marchish.
I inconsistently get notifications.
My mentions seem to always work, but when people reply to my posted threads, I don’t get notifications. (85% of the time)
So I manually go look at the threads.

 

I've never had an issue with notifications for watched threads or alerts for mentions, quotes, or replies.

I disabled notifications for likes a long time ago, but I'm not sure if that's why everything seems to work 100% of the time for me or if it might be due to my forum-wide permissions as an Administrator.
