Pokemon Go Discussion Section needs to be removed

With the possible implementation of H1z1/pubg marketplaces on the forums coming up (possibly), it's time to get rid of the dead(ish) games

Personally, the discussion section for pokemon is completely dead...

There's very little to no activity.

 

Support, it’s pretty much a completely dead section at this point.

 

Support as well. The peak of Pokemon Go is long over, which can also be seen in the subforum.

 

Might as well remove Overwatch Discussion, hasn't had a post for 6 days and all the posts before that were a month ago.

 

Support, This is something we have been actively talking about in the past & i would definitely love to see something implemented in its place.

 

Yeah,

It's dead, the game died off as soon as the develops stopped listening to the community. (right away)

It'd make the site a little less cluttered.

Livestreams and Gaming have threads on their front page that are 6 months old. The CS:GO section has threads that are 4 months old on their front page. In the 6 months that the Dota 2 section has been open there have only been 9 threads created, with two of those being locked due to spam. The Overwatch section has threads that are nearly a year old still up on their front page.

I doubt whatever else may replace the Pokemon Go section would be any different. This site doesn't cater well to the non-RS crowd as far as discussion goes.

 

The league market actually looks pretty solid to me.

Nonetheless, I think it's pretty clear that inactive sections (especially certain game's discussion sections) needs to be removed.

I believe getting rid of certain markets that are mentioned in this thread should be moved forward to voting (if approved voting, they will be perm removed from the forum)

Also I think this actual execution of this implementation should be easy, as it prolly only takes seconds to remove the markets from the forum (however this is just an assumption, I am not aware of the specifics)

I'm all for removing dead sections especially with the implementation of upcoming sections. If this gets more support, I'll bring it up to higher ups.

This wont get removed as Sythe himself made efforts to make a Pokemon Go bot. People still search for bots which would like to the site which means traffic.

 

What traffic lmao? Have you even checked the pokemon go section out? Literally no activity whatsoever. I doubt @Sythe has made a profit from the pokemon go section in the last few months. Maybe a customer or two at most lol.

Additionally, if the owner wants to keep the market section for his own personal gain, that's okay. (I mean what can you do right? lmao)

But how about the pokemon go (and some other games) "discussion" section? This section literally serves 0 purpose.
