-So seraphic was banned and his MOTM was removed, which I don't see why MOTM has anything to do with it.

-Then we got a talk about "transparency".

-Then the thread was closed shortly after? Not really transparent.... And btw, it's pretty easy to have a conversation via sythe forums, which is why bans and repeals and even discussions about current events, which can hold the most valuable and specific information, are conducted via sythe forums. That is just a lame excuse and you all know it.



I don't agree with the ban. The information he gave out was already publically available via Sythe.org

According to him, he only requoted it


That being said

I have the names of 2 nice and friendly, high vouched users who I would never want to see banned (unless they specifically did something like scam), that requoted MY FULL NAME ( only half of what Seraphic did), that was available via sythe.org from over 4.5 years ago....

but after I talked to 2 different mods, @Panda and if forgot the other one, will find soon, I got the response "sorry, but there is not much we can do since you posted the name.."

EDIT: I orignally quoted @Gen and he had nothing to do with this. I apologize. The mods also were very nice to me and tried to help me, but I am just trying to show that I did in fact go to mods about this issue, and they helped the best they could so thank you @Panda

Why does he get a ban and removal of MOTM?
When my issue was thrown out and ignored when the same thing happened to me?

Is it because I am not a mod?
Is it because I'm not a highly vouched user, despite having nothing but clean trades..

this is unfair and you all know it.
Now unban him, or ban the other two users that I complained about (Again, 2 great guys I would hate see banned and I am not trying to throw them under the bus, but it's basically the EXACT same situation, so I am just trying to prove a point).


Hold people to the same standards as others. It's not a hard concept to understand.

Yes, and the name that Seraphic requoted was also posted on sythe, but not by Seraphic. He only requoted it, So how is that any different?

I am just trying to prove a point that this is the exact same issue so why was my issue denied (I could care less that It was it was on accident and I used my IRL skype when I first used sythe), but someone who did the same thing was Banned, and got his MOTM award removed, which seems to be unrealted

..there is something odd about this, and find it funny that the thread was closed, despite talks about being transparent.

I also don't agree that these issues have to be talked about via discord, since discord IS NOT sythe.org and if someone chooses to speak about an issue they shouldn't have to be reffered to discord. just my opinion on this issue

but Anything goes here. If we want transparency, what better place to post then a place where anything goes. I don't see this thread getting closed and that's why I posted here. I want people to understand that this is just unfair IMO.

I don't want to get a response like "the decision has already been made", and then the report gets closed and we are back to square one with CDT saying "if you want to discuss over discord we can"..

I don't even know the guy, but if someone denied me, why not deny him? my issue was settled via a PM to the guy who posted it... simple, done. This had to get its own CDT posting and then was closed shortly after because "It's hard to discuss these issues over sythe".

I agree Tylers info posted on a thread in disputes could of easily been hidden. I dont see why theres one rule for mods and another for members.

Idk @Tyler or seraphic, but I don't see why my shit was denied but seraphic was instantly banned. Idc about the MOTM anymore, I care about people simply being held to the same standards, even if the standards are stupid as fuck

yeah idc about the MOTM, i care that someone got banned for requoting your PI that you posted. 2 people posted MORE of my PI, that was seen by literally dozens of people, and there was no ban, report was denied, and I got the response "Nothing we can do". Can you tell me why? Global mods didn't reply to me. I'm not saying you did anything wrong, because you didnt, I am saying that if someone did the same thing they did to you, shouldn't they get a ban, and if not, should seraphic's ban be revoked?
